Polishes from Romania - Part 2

The second polish from Romania is Kallos no. 241. Its bottle is totally different, round and with a white cup. This is a frosty silver-gold color and it looks almost metallic on the hand.

The cool part in it is that it has tiny colorful glitter inside and if you'll take a close look on the picture I took in the sun, you could see it. The less cool part is that you can see these glitter only in the sun and in a regular light, it looks much more like in the second picture, still beautiful but without the special color.

You can't define this color as a nude, but the nice part about it is that it blends so nicely with the skin color, on one hand it's very delicate and on the other hand it has a very beautiful presence.

The application here was very easy and two coats were enough for an opaque and beautiful look.

Kallos - No. 241

הלק השני בסדרת הלקים מרומניה הוא Kallos מס' 241. הבקבוק שלו הוא שונה לגמרי, עגול ועם פקק לבן והוא במעין צבע זהוב כסוף במרקם פרוסט, שנראה על היד כמעט מטאלי.

מה שמגניב בו, זה שיש בו נצנצים זעירים בכל מיני צבעים ואם תסתכלו טוב בתמונה שצילמתי אותו בשמש, תוכלו לראותם אותם. מה שפחות מגניב, זה שרק בשמש אפשר לראות אותם ובאור רגיל הוא נראה כמו בתמונה השניה, עדיין יפה אבל בלי הצבעוניות המיוחדת.

אי אפשר להגדיר את הצבע הזה כניוד, אבל מה שנחמד בו, זה שהוא משתלב כל כך יפה על היד, ומצד אחד הוא מאוד עדין ומצד שני יש לו נוכחות מאוד יפה.

המריחה שלו היתה קלה ביותר ושתי שכבות הספיקו למראה אטום ויפה.

And if you haven't guessed yet, or you're not here long enough to guess, the answer is my mom - :-)

Yes, my parents returned from a trip to Romania and when they asked me what I want from there, I, how surprising, asked for polishes….hahaha (yes, I'm over 30 and not living with them for almost a decay, but still get presents when they travel J )

So my precious mom had chosen me these polishes, and although she still don't have the courage to bring me some greens and blues, I have to say that she'd definitely improved ! Way to go mom, love ya J

And as a tribute to my mom, the reds lover, I'll start today by showing you the red one she chose for me.

These three polishes are from a brand called Kallos and this one is number 52. This is a dark red with a golden shimmer, although I'll tell you right now that the gold shimmer is not visible on the nails as it's in the bottle.

When I applied it, the only thing I could think about is "WOW", everything about it was perfect ! The formula is amazing and so easy to apply, it has a great pigment and it's opaque already in one coat, yes, totally opaque…I applied 2 coats just because my brain can't get use to one coat, especially when we're talking on reds. The color is rich and vibrant and although I'm not a big reds fan, you know, I had to admit that this one look gorgeous on my nails.

I can definitely say that this polish came as a big surprise for me and if any of you live in Romania, going to visit there or being asked what you want from there – I can warmly recommend you about this polish J

Kallos - No. 52

הלקים האלה הגיעו אליי היישר מרומניה.....

ועכשיו חידה קטנה - נחשו מי בחר לי אותם ?

ואם עוד לא ניחשתן, או שאתן לא כאן מספיק זמן כדי לנחש אז התשובה היא – אמא שלי J

כן, ההורים שלי חזרו מטיול ברומניה וכהרגלי בקודש כשנשאלתי מה אני רוצה, עניתי לקים...חחחח (כן, כבר מעל 30 וכמעט עשור שלא גרה איתם, אבל עדיין מקבלת מתנות מחו"ל J )

אז אמא יקרה לי בחרה במיוחד בשבילי את הלקים האלה, ועל אף שהיא עדיין לא מעזה להביא לי ירוקים או כחולים, אני יכולה להגיד לכן שהיא בהחלט השתפרה ! כל הכבוד אמא, מתה עלייך J

וכמחווה לאמא שלי, חובבת האדומים, אני אתחיל היום בלהראות לכן את הלק האדום שהיא בחרה לי.

שלושת הלקים הם של חברה שנקראת Kallos והלק הזה הוא מס' 52. מדובר באדום כהה עם שימר מוזהב, למרות שאני אציין כבר עכשיו שבניגוד למה שציפיתי כשראיתי את הבקבוק, השימר הזהוב בכלל לא מורגש על הציפורניים.

כשמרחתי אותו, הדבר היחיד שהצלחתי לחשוב עליו הוא "וואוו", הכל בו היה מושלם ! המריחה מדהימה וקלה, יש לו פיגמנט מעולה והוא אטום כבר בשכבה ראשונה, אבל אטום אני אומרת לכן....שמתי שתי שכבות רק מתוך הרגל, כי למוח שלי קשה להתרגל לשכבה אחת באופן כללי וכשמדובר באדומים על אחת כמה וכמה. הצבע עשיר ומלא חיים ועם כל חוסר החיבה הכללי שלי לאדומים, הייתי חייבת להודות בפני עצמי שהוא נראה סוף הדרך על הציפורניים !

אני בהחלט יכולה לסכם את הלק הזה כהפתעה ואם תקפצו לרומניה או מישהו ישאל אתכן מה אתן רוצות משם – אז אני יכולה להמליץ לכן בפה מלא לבקש את הלק הזה J

And I want to thank my parents.......

היום אני פורעת עוד אחד מהחובות שהצטברו לי :-)

ההורים שלי היו בארה"ב ולפני שהם נסעו הם שאלו אותי אם להביא לי משהו...אתן בטח יכולות לנחש מה ביקשתי....

נכון ! לקים !! חחחחחח.....

אז עשיתי להם רשימה קטנה וקיבלתי הבטחה שהם יביאו לי מה שהם ימצאו.

כמו שאני כבר מכירה את ההורים שלי, לא חשבתי שהם יחזרו בידיים ריקות, וציפיתי לקבל כמה לקים נחמדים משם...
אבל האמא המשוגעת שלי לקחה את זה בתור "פרוייקט" ודאגה להביא לי......

22 לקים !!

כן, כן, 22 לקים חדשים ! לא פחות !

ובהתאם לעובדה שמדובר באמא שלי, רוב הלקים הם על קשת האדומים-ורודים.....חחחח

אז תודה רבה להורים המקסימים שלי ולאמא המטורללת והמקסימה שלי בפרט, על שטרחו לחפש, לבחור ולסחוב עבורי את כל הלקים הנהדרים האלה (ולדאוג לעטוף אותם טוב כך שאף אחד לא נשבר) !!

והנה הם כאן לפניכם, בהופעת בכורה היישר מארה"ב !

ובנוסף, אם כבר בענייני חובות עסקינן, אז אני אפרע עוד חוב קטן על הדרך – קרוב משפחה שלי חזר מפריז והביא לי 4 לקים קטנים ומקסימים של Claire's, אז אני מצרפת גם אותם לעיונכן :-)

Today I'm going to repay another one of my debts to you :-)

My parents were on a trip to the U.S.A and before they went, they asked me if there is anything that I would like to get…….you can probably guess what my answer was….

That's right ! Nails polishes !!! LOL

So I gave them a short list and they promised that they'd bring me whatever they'd find.

As I know my parents, I'd expected that they won't be back with empty hands, and I thought they would bring me a couple of nice polishes from there…..

But my crazy mom took it as a "project" and brought me…..

22 polishes !!

Yes, 22 new polishes !!! LOL….

And according to the fact that we're still talking about my mom, most of them are on the red-pink side….lol

So my lovely parents deserve big thanks, especially my charming crazy mom, for looking, finding and carrying these gorgeous polishes for me (and managed to wrap them so there wouldn't be any broken bottle) !!!

So here they are, straight from the U.S, in their premiere !

And also, if we're dealing with debts, here is another one on the way – one of my relatives visited Paris a while ago, and brought me some adorable tiny Claire's polishes, so I'm adding a picture of them also - they are so cute !:-)
