I try again... if I blog the card right away, I might manage to enter it into the challenge I made it for... not like last week...lol...

Image is Miss Anya by The Greeting Farm. Coloured with Promarkers. The butterfly is Cheery Lynn Exotic Butterfly small. I have also used a MS punch and the sentiment is by North Star Stamps.

I'm entering this card into these challenges:
Sketch Saturday - week 201 - sketch
Stamp with fun - Challenge #155 - No eastercard
Simon Says - Anything goes.

Thanks for looking!

Butterfly butterfly...

I can't believe how warm it has been here lately. It certainly doesn't feel like March. The week end was really warm and sunny... so hot that I could walk around the garden without a jumper or jacket on. The girls have been playing in their bare feet on the decking and I've managed to tidy most of my flower beds. I wonder how long it will last.... It won't be much snow left for easter, that's for sure....

I bought some new embossing folders and butterfly dies on saturday, and I could hardly wait for the sun to set on sunday so I could go inside and play... I've just been playing around with my new stash and this is what I came up with...
I have used QuicKutz flowers and retro squares embossingfolders. The butterflies are Cheery Lynn Exotic Butterfly small. I also got the QuicKutz parquet metal embossing die and some sentiments stamps, but I didn't use any of that on this card.... which means, of course, that I have to go and play some more soon....

Here's a peek of the inside....
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday- challenge 209- Anything goes.

Cards made in 2011

Another post showing everything I've done since february... lol... maybe I should start blogging a bit more often again.... Well, this time I just want to blog all the cards I made this... ehm... last year.
.
For Christmas I needed a few small things to give away, so I made these small post it note holders. They were really quick and fun to make.
Here you can see all the postit note holders I made....
This card was for my sister in law's birthday. She plays the guitar and she had just done a project with spiders at school... The left picture is the front of the card, and the right is a peek of the inside...
My niece was one in October.... this is the card I made for her.
This mermaid was for one of Maja's friend's birthday.
...and another mermaid for Susie's friend.
It's always hard to buy prensents for people that have everything... so for my mum's birthday I made her a set of five cards for different occasions. When I think about it, this was probably a stupid thing to do since she is one of the few people that buys cards from me on a regular basis.... The set consisted of:
A wedding card...
a new home card....
a happy birthday card...
another birthday card....
and a card with no sentiment...
they were all decorated on the inside as well...
I think she was pleased with the present, and I know that she has already given some of the cards away.
.
The next two cards was for Maja's friends too...

And way back in january last year, I made this sliding pop up card for some friends of ours that had a baby girl.
Well.... this was kind of short and sweet... lol... I guess I should have added what stamps (companies) and materials I've used but I can't really be bothered listing all that for all these cards. And I think that would have made for a really boring post as well....

Butterfly card

Just a quick note today as I'm away on autumn holiday at the moment. I took the girls with me to see my parents in Kristiansand for the week. Hubby had to stay at home and go to work unfortunately...

Just before I left home, I had the foresight to upload this card to my blog, just in case I had a spare moment to sneak off to the computer...
This card was commisioned by my aunt a month or so ago. She needed a card for a 50th birthday she was going to.
A peek of the inside and details of the card.
My mind has gone totally blank as to what companies the different things in this card are from. If anyone really wants to know, I can find out as soon as I'm back home again. I also used a sketch from a challenge blog, but can I remember from which one...?? ehhh... no.... I think this autumn holiday and no crafting for a whole week is making my head go numb... lol...

Nesting instinct???

OK, so I have been busy making ATCs lately... I've heard about people having this nesting instinct where they clean the house etc just before they have their baby.... maybe this is what I do.... Make atcs.... 'cos I know I won't have much time after the baby is born....??? Only 2 1/2 weeks to go now.....
