Love Story

This Instagram photo has been sitting on my desk for a long time, and I've been waiting for the perfect papers to use with it. The Lucky Charm collection by Dear Lizzy was a satisfying match :-)

Layouts with Core'dinations

I created these two layouts at the yearly Scrap-a-mania crop while demonstrating Core'dinations cardstock for Love2scrap.dk.

 

 

Both layouts use the Jillibean/Core'dinations pre-embossed cardstock, ready to sand to reveal the color core. So much fun!

95 years in your hands

Yeah,  for using girly colors on a layout with my son! I used a photo of my super cool 95-year old grandma holding Melvin. It was so touching seeing her old wrinkly hand hold his tiny brandnew (and therefore also wrinkly) hand, almost 100 year apart.

 

Modelingpaste og glitter

This layout was made for Love2scrap using modeling paste/gesso and glitter. You can see how I created the background in this blog post. I have made quite a few layouts this past week. For every-single-one I used masks and modeling paste. It's so much fun!

Julekort med embossing og Core'dinations

Managed to get some Christmas cards done today using Core'dinations cardstock.

Her er to drenge kort, som er på Love2Scrap's blog i dag. Kortene er lavet med rester fra det netop afholdte Baby-scrap kursus.

Here are two cards for little boys. They went up on Love2Scraps blog today and are made with leftover scraps from a baby scrapbook class I just taught.

Asbjørn elsker at klæde sig ud, og da han var vokset ud af sit elskede Kaptajn Klo var det perfekt at finde et nyt pirat kostume i Disney butikken i Firenze sidste efterår. Mød den nye Jack Sparrow!

Til dette dobbelt layout (8.5x11"-format) har jeg brugt en blanding af Echo Park's This&That og October Afternoons Sasparilla serier.

Asbjørn loves to dress up and since he grew out of his beloved Captain Hook costume it was time for a new pirate costume. We found one at the Disney store in Florence last fall. Meet the new Jack Sparrow!

Et gammel ferieminde er kommet på et layout med nogle af de skønne ferie-produkter fra Love2scrap. Baggundspapiret er noget af det første Cosmo Cricket lavede - Dutch girl fra 2006 ell. deromkring. Jeg har svært ved at skille mig af med papir, og tænker at jeg nok skal få det brugt. Dette fik jeg da brugt!

An old vacation memory made it to a layout with vacation-related goodies from Love2scrap and a really old sheet of Cosmo Cricket paper from around 2006. Oh, yes I have a hard time letting go of my papers, and think I eventually will find use for them. With this one I did! My son insisted on running around with a camera when visiting Pisa and I couldn't resist. Love the crocket photos he takes.

Woody's roundup mini album

October Afternoon's Sasparilla serie passede perfekt til nogle gamle billeder jeg havde liggende af min søn udklædt som Woody. Det kom der dette mini album ud af, som også er lagt på Love2scrap's blog i dag. Dette mini album er et af mine yndlings album. Det ligger i butikken i Roskilde, hvis du vil se det.

This post went up on the love2scrap blog today. A mini album featuring Woody aka Asbjørn! The Sasparilla collection was a perfect match for some old photos I had laying around from a Woody-photoshoot I did of Asbjørn early 2011. This mini album is one of my favorites, and I hope you like it too!

Manedspakke med My Mind's Eye

Love2scrap har en månedspakke, som i september er et skønt collection kit fra My Mind's Eye. Her er hvad jeg indtil videre har lavet af inspiration med månedspakken.

Love2scrap has a monthly kit-club. This month it is an awesome collection kit from My Mind's Eye. Here is what I created with the kit (this far, because I still have scraps left).

Til dette layout har jeg bla. brugt de nye mini bogstav klistermærker fra Lilybee design og grønne alpha stickers fra Pink Paislee og en tin pin fra Sasparilla-serien:

Og vi går lige fra vinter til sommer i Legoland...der er lidt til ethvert projekt :-). Her har jeg brugt OA Mini market stickers og en chickenwire mask:

Og lidt twine, en Pretty Party stof-brad og bingo-brik. Cirklerne er skåret med en cirkelskærer.

Og så et par kort af nogle rester. Og rester har jeg stadig lidt tilbage af, så der er til rigtig mange projekter i månedspakken...

Sommer (skitseudfordring)

Love2scrap har givet designerne en skitseudfordring i denne uge. Og i dag blev det min tur til at vise min tolkning af skitsen. Jeg vendte skitsen på siden og endte med følgende layout med et foto fra en gåtur på Fælleden på en af de varme sommerdage.

Jeg har brugt Echo Park's This&That i en blanding af papir og stickers, gamle bogstav stickers og lidt grøn og orange glimmermist.

Du kan lave din egen tolkning af skitsen og sende den til Pia i denne uge. Måske vinder DU et gavekort til butikken på 250 kr?

And thank you, Kim, for letting me know that my layout made it all the way to the top at Two peas. Had to document this "historic moment" with a screendump. ha ha. Love love love that photo of my son. Hope it inspires people to use needles with their masks.
