Decorating Dilemma:

I did this about 4 years ago, when I was changing my
living room from wallpaper to teddies and quilts.


By the time I got it painted,
I decided I did not want that kind of "country" look.
I just hate to paint over it, but....??
Guess that is probably my only choice.
It is my entry and the door opens in front of it.
No room for a piece of furniture.
I do have a friend who hopes I'll cut the wall out so she can have it.
I don't think so.
Any bright ideas???


And while you are in a thinking mood,
anyone know what this paper is for?
It is vintage, and comes in about 5" wide strips.
Maybe 3' in package.
Of course I got it at a sale,
and the guy, when I asked what it was for,
said, " you can use it for anything you want. "
Duh!!
Hope someone knows what it is "supposed" to be for.
I'm curious.

My Dad.
He has Alzheimers, so he forgets the words sometimes.
The other musicians are always so gracious to everyone.

After we enjoyed the music for an hour,

The front of the box was pretty plain,
so I added lace trim and antiqued it.

Who said you have to put candles on them.?=0)

Yuuummm. How about 3 chocolate sundae candles?
They smell up the store real good! =0))

Happy Pink Saturday!!

First of all today, I would love to show you yet another
wonderfully created piece using my tea bag rose tutorial.
(and it happens to have pink in it too) =0)

My Mom at her birthday lunch last month.

And my first ever Baby Shoe Pin Cushion.

I used a doily my Mom made for the pin cushion part,
and vintage crochet lace trim for around the edge.
A vintage earring is the trim on the front of it,
and creamy vintage buttons on top.
I think it is done, but still pondering.

I did this using Dawn's Tutorial. (the feathered nest)
She does wonderful tutorials, and has a great blog.
She is so great to share her ideas and treasures with everyone!
