White Wednesday Victorian

 These are two bodice pieces of a Victorian dress.
Not sure of year.....maybe early 1900's.

 Beautiful detail and hand stitched beading.

 This is the beading on the edge.

 And here is a close up of it. It came in two pieces.

We had our huge sale this weekend, so was very busy.

Now I'm back and have I have oodles of treasures to show you for the next few days.

Blue, Yellow, Blocks & Butterflies

For some reason I am suddenly fascinated with butterflies.
Shiny necklaces.

Golden pins.

paper ones.
(actually I have admired Diane's
(Diane Knott's Musings) for some time.
(click on her blog name for more beautiful butterflies.)

Now I'm hoping to make some of my own out of music paper
and French dictionary pages.

But, for now, here is one of my few finds
being I've been cooped up for awhile.
Here are my blues and yellows.

sets of old blocks.
First I've seen with the grooves on them.
Makes for easy stacking.

(sorry, no cute words spelled out.
Just doing good to get a post up at all.)

Fun Finds and a Little Blue

Hmmm.
What is it?
Thought I found a really great treasure,
only to go on ebay and find out they are not worth a lot.
Well, they will look cute in the store anyway,
and I will get my money back out of them.
Can't make a big profit on everything. =)

Piano Player rolls.
Yes, two of them. Still in the boxes.
(shabby though they are).

But I'm really excited about this find!
Another scale.
I love scales. Fun to display on.
Black, rusty, perfect. (oh, still dirty, didn't clean it yet.) =0

With the decals still in tact.

And more jewelry. Two earring sets in center,
and that luscious green pin at the top.
All vintage earrings, clip on or screw on.
The gold and black flowers in the center are my faves.

And here is my newest blue bowl.
Lovin' that color.
