Springs & Crows

I love old bed springs.

we recently got some, and have cut them into small useable pieces.

See part of one behind that rusty bucket??

Great to tuck in the garden too....

plants love to grow on them.....

 here is a bigger one in an old cart....

waiting for some other fun things to be thrown in around it.

 of course in the Fall, one of my fave things is crows....

See how this one is sitting on a single coil of spring??

a spring with a 'boo' on it and in a little vignette.

You can also sit little pumpkins on them, or candles.

or turn them on their side and put an old picture or mail.

 and you can sit crows on.......

in...or around anything...

old lanterns, boxes, sewing machine, typewriter....

even an old work belt.

Now...go decorate!!

wonderful art for her ETSY shop.
Crow Pumpkin #1 (above) This guy has silver bling in his nest,
a chain in his mouth, and cheesecloth, feathers, and spiders everywhere.
#1 SOLD. Thank you Dorthe. =)

#2  More bling, and and egg in his nest.. Shredded paper,
and of course spiders are hanging out at his place too.
This guy has a feather in his mouth to fluff up his nest.

 

#3 Some fall leaves add a bit of color to this one.

and more bling. This time gold.

All the crows have built their nests on black 

pumpkins with sequins on them, and a

little twig to fluff cheesecloth on and

make a home for the spiders. =)

Welcome Fall

 

Time to get those Fall decorations out,

even though we are just barely having summer weather now.

 

I get a little crow crazy about this time.

These Crow's Nest Pumpkins are soooo fun!!

 

Love this Remember sign with the Fall leaves around it.

 And, taking 'votes' on "like" or "not like" on this rustic cross with lace.

 You can be honest. I can take it.
