Lieve vlaggetjes, schattige mandjes, prachtige quiltboeken.... Lovely little flags, beautiful baskets and great quiltbooks....

Dat duurde echt langer dan gedacht....... en ondertussen is er ook best wel veel gequilt. Dus maar even een "tour de quilt"...... ;)

Willen jullie er een kopje koffie (of thee?) en wat lekkers bij? Geniet ze!

That took a while longer that expected.... and in the meanwhile there has been a lot of quilting. So lets take a "tour de quilt"...... ;)

Dit wordt de quilt voor kleindochter Nadeche (bijna 4 jaar). Vrolijke vlaggetjes, leuke stipjes en kleine prinsesjes... :)

This is the quilt for granddaughter Nadeche (almost 4 years old). Cheerful flags, lovely dots and beautiful princesses..... :)
En de mandjes blijven ook zo leuk...... soms blijven ze even liggen, maar het is zo'n heerlijk werkje als je even een paar momentjes over hebt... Wordt het geen plaatje? Ergens moet er een grote mand (ik denk met bloemen) in verwerkt worden....., vind je niet?

And the baskets also keep attractive.... sometimes they stay here quiet, but it's a great little thing to do when you have a few moments to spare.....

Isn't she gorgeous? Somewhere there has to come a big basket (probably with flowers) in it......, don't you think so?

En een lieve vriendin heeft deze quiltboeken voor me gevonden! Prachtig! Eén met Airedale terriers erin....; en het boekje met de irisquiltjes is een plaatje. Er staat een artikeltje in de laatste Quiltnieuws.
And a dear friend found me these quiltbooks! Super! One with Airedale terriers in them.....; and the little book with the irisquilts is just gorgeous. There is an article about it in the last Quiltnews.
En er was een interne verhuizing..... Mijn quiltkamertje gaat gebruikt worden door één van onze zonen en dus is mam verhuisd naar het kamertje van mijn andere hobby..... pottenbakken.... Wel zo handig; ook voor Amar.... is vrouwtje niet meer zo buiten bereik...., vindt vrouwtje ook wel gezellig!! ;)

And there was an internal relocation....... My quiltroom is going to be used by one of our sons and so mum moved to the room of my other hobby..... pottery.......

Just as convenient; also for Amar.... I'm not so out of reach......., I also like that...... just as cozy.....

Nou, dat was het voor eerst. Ik hoop dat jullie ervan genoten hebben! Ik vond het fijn om jullie weer wat te laten zien!

Amar is erbij in slaap gevallen zo je ziet....... de kleine woef.... (nou ja, klein..... ;) ......).

Mooie boeken en ook zo'n plaatje... Nice books and a lovely picture

In de vakantie heb ik ook nog een paar prachtige boeken bemachtigd. Hier even een foto van het stel. Ze zijn echt super!

En het boek Home Sweet Home...... wat een super-quilt is dat! Toen ik hem bij haar helemaal af zag......wow!

Ja, toen ben ik als een blok gevallen, hè? Is denk ik niet zo raar, toch?? :))

In our vacation I also purchased a few beautiful books. Here a picture of them. They are really great!

And the Home Sweet Home-book..... what a great quilt! When I saw it finished at her blog ....... wow!

Yes, I immediately fell for it....... That not so strange, is it?? :))

Dus maar eens zien wanneer ik tijd vind om aan deze schat te beginnen.....

So now I have to find time to start this treasure....

Na het zien van al dat moois, moest ik gewoon even Josephine op de tafel zetten om even met haar te werken..... :))

After seeing all those beauties, I just had to put my Josephine on the table and work with her a while....... :))

Is het geen schatje? En zo'n plezier om mee te werken!

En ik wilde jullie nog even een foto van Joris laten zien.

Hij houdt niet zo van veranderingen in huis en zeker niet als overal andere dingen staan. Dan snuffelt 'ie uren lang en kan kijken met een blik van: "ben je helemaal gek geworden......?!"

And I wanted to show you a picture from Joris. He doesn't like changes in the house and especially not the ones that include other things standing everywhere.

Than he sniffles hours about the place with a look in his eyes that says:"have you completely lost your mind.....?!"

Heerlijk om terug te zijn..... Great to be back.....

Op vakantie zijn is heerlijk, he? Maar terug zijn ook, vind ik. Dan kom je er toch achter hoe je iedereen die achterblijft, ook in blogland...... :)) ..., mist! En dat heb ik hoor!

Heerlijk om al jullie berichtjes weer te kunnen lezen en erop te reageren. Geweldig!

Being on holiday is just great, isn't it? But being back is great too, I think. You just find out how you missed eveyone that stayed behind, including you all in blogland.... :)) ....! And I missed you!

It's just so nice to be able to read all your posts and respond to them. Great!

En terwijl we van alles bekeken, uitrusten, genoten; is ook Leanne's House afgekomen en hangt nu heerlijk op haar plekje in de kamer. Ze geniet er echt van dat ze door velen wordt bewonderd!

And while we toured around, enjoying the rest; I finished Leanne's House and she's hanging beautifully at her place in our room. I think she's really enjoying it to be admired by so many people!

En in de vele dingen die zijn veranderd deze zomer, was er ook een kamertje voor mijn quiltspullen over....... Wel heerlijk om alles op (bijna...) één plek te hebben, zeg!

Wel zal het kamertje ook worden gebruikt als logeerkamertje, maar dat vind ik prima! :))

And in the many changes this summer, there suddenly was a room for my quilty things..... It is so great to have (almost) all stuff in one place!

And although this room also will be used as a questroom, I think it is just fine! :))

Heb je gezien hoeveel beren ik had verzameld? Ze lagen overal in huis....... tjonge, wat leuk!

Sommige zijn nog heel oude knuffels van de kinderen. Leuke herinneringen, he?

Have you seen the many bears I had collected? They were all about the house....... I just loved it when they came together! Some are cuddles from the children. Nice memories, aren't they?

En ik ben een eindje verder gekomen met m'n hexagon/sterretjes. Ze schijnen wel mooi, vinden jullie ook niet?

Het is echt een heerlijk werkje en ik laat het dus ook nog maar even heerlijk groeien. :)

And I came a lot further with my hexagon/little stars. They are shining quite beautiful, don't you think so?

It's lovely making them and I think I let them grow a bit more. :)
