steeds nieuwe steekjes zetten aan hetzelfde project.....  ;D
terwijl je weet dat het nog heel lang kan duren voordat het af is....
making new stitches every time on the same project..... ;D
knowing it will take a lot more time to finish....

En omdat ze zo groot wordt (en dit is nog maar de eerste rand ...!..)

ook maar even een boven-aanzicht hieronder.

And because she gets so big (and this is only the first border.....!..)

De kleuren komen niet helemaal zo mooi uit.

Zal wel komen ondat de zon nog zo naar binnen schijnt.

The colours seem a bit dull.

I guess that is because the sun is shining threw the windows.

Deze mosterd-gele stof wordt de tussen-rand.

Ik moet het nog wel vastnaaien, maar eigenlijk wil ik de hoeken ook eerst af.

This yellow/brownish fabric will be the inbetween border.

Have to attach it still, but I want to wait till I finish the corner-units.

En met deze rand ben ik bezig;

opzij moeten er nog twee motiefjes gemaakt; zie je?

And I'm working on this border;

on both sides I have to attache the last parts, see?

En als ik helemaal flauw ben van m'n naaldje;

of mijn vinger weer eens helemaal beurs is van al dat geprik...

dan haak ik snel even een paar randjes van de Crochet Along 2014 aan één van de dekens in wording.

And when I'm absolutely tired from my little needle;

of when my fingers hurt from all the stitching..

P.S. Gelukkig gaat het steeds beter met ons Nadeche-Prinsesje! 

Ze doet het geweldig en gaat heel natuurlijk om met de drain uit haar nier.

We zijn zo ontzettend trost op onze grote-kleine-meid!!

P.S. We are so happy that our Nadeche-Princess is feeling better every day!

She's doing great and handles the drain from her kidney really natural.

We are so very proud of her!!

Steekje voor steekje....... Stitch by stitch......

komen allerlei verschillende werkjes dichterbij het doel. (omindetrantteblijvenvanhetvoetbal, he?!) 

all kinds of projects are closer to their goal.  (tostayintermsoffootball-orsoccer-, he?!)  

Sweet William wacht rustig op 'r beurt. En staat gewoon mooi te zijn...... ;)

Ik heb wel ontdekt dat ik het handquilten echt gemist heb... 

Maar nu ga ik gewoon zo snel dat er alweer een kwart af is.

Dat klinkt natuurlijk super, maar het betekent wel dat het in dit tempo zo af is....!!!

En... er is nog GEEN opvolgend handquiltporoject af!

Dus daar moet ik ook snel aan gewerkt worden en misschien iets minder aan het doorpitten van de SW.  :'(

Sweet William is patiently waiting her turn. And is just being beautiful....  ;)

I did discover I really missed handquilting..

But now I'm going so fast that a quarter of the quilt is already done.

That sounds great (I know), but it means that, if I keep working at this rate, this quilt  is soon finished....!!!

And... there is NO following handquiltproject to work on next!

So I have to work faster on another WIP (WorkInProgress) and less on quilting the SW.  :'(

Het leuke blokje met de vlindertjes is aan de beurt...

The sweet block with the lovely butterflies is next.....

En dit moet dan het volgende handquiltproject worden!

En dat stimuleert natuurlijk wel enorm!

Er zitten hier 343 mandjes aan elkaar. 

Dat wordt al mooi, he?! 

Ik zou terug moeten kijken hoelang ik hier al mee bezig ben; ik weet het niet zo uit m'n hoofd, maar al wel een hele tijd.   ;)

En door het hele gebouw in huis, was ik al flink achtergeraakt met de dekens voor de dochters.

Dus dat moest ook even in gehaald; en mooi dat het wordt!

Heerlijk om even met je haaknaaldje rustig op de bank te zitten 

(en ondertussen te genieten van het voetbal!!).

And because of all the renovating in our home, I was way behind with the crochet along blankets for the daughters.

So I had to catch up; and it's turning out so beautiful!

It's great to relax with a crochethook on the couch

(and watching football -soccer-!!)

Hoe snel de tijd kan gaan...... How quickly time flies by......

en hoe bezig je dan kunt zijn met heel veel dingen, he?!
and how busy one can be with so many different things, he?!

De afgelopen weken heb ik echt van alles in mijn handen gehad en weet je...... het is allemaal leuk om te doen!   ;)
These last few weeks a many projects came threw my hands and you know..... they are all so much fun!  ;)

Bijvoorbeeld de Love Entwined Quilt (klik).
Ons huiswerk van de laatste maanden is wel heel veel, zodat het mij niet meer lukt om bij te blijven, maar dat drukt de pret niet, hoor!
Het is een plaatje van een quilt en een plezierige uitdaging om eraan te werken.

Our homework these last few months was extensive, so it's impossible for me to keep up, but that doesn't matter a bit!
It's a gorgeous quilt and such an enjoyable challege to work on.

En ook de kleine sterretjes-lap is gegroeid met twee rijen. 

Toch zou het leuk zijn als het nog wat groter wordt; ik houd nu één keer van grotere quilts...... :)

Het is dus nog een poosje een UFO...

It would be fun to see it grow a bit bigger; I just love bigger quilts.....  :)

So it will be a UFO for a while....

Dat vind ik echt een succes!
