Another wet and miserable day so I followed our customers into the various shops and eateries at lunch time.
1. Rita's Tea Room was the most popular.
2. I had to wait for two family groups to move out before snatching a picture of The Sweet Shop.
3. The Pub was less popular (have we got it right?).
4. The Bookshop - again I had to wait for a gap in the customers to get this picture.

First wind then fog
Crich has had its fair share of BanK Holiday weather in the last few days.
1. MET 331 is now in the Workshop.
2. Liverpool 869 approaching the Workshop. I understand it suffered minor damage because of high winds over the weekend.
3. It was nice to Blackpool 167 in service.
4. Glasgow 812 in misty conditions at Town End.

Books for sale
In addition to new books The Bookshop also sells some second hand books. Hardback books are usually sold for £5 or £10 and soft backs for even less. Next time you visit the Museum look in the far right hand corner of the Bookshop for a bargin.
1. Second hand books in the Bookshop.
2. More books waiting for shelf space.

Wales and Australia
1 & 2. Cardiff 131's roof and trolley plank have now been painted grey.
3 & 4. Warren Doubleday from Melbourne and Ballaratt visited Crich yesterday. He is seen with Glynn Wilton looking at engineering drawings that are stored in metal cabinets and protected by acid free paper and cardboard. Warren was also very interested in Mick Smith's work reconstructing controllers.
