Seahorse Illusion

Seahorse Illusion - It is time for a new challenge at The Sweet Pea Stampers. Our challenge is Thinking of You/Missing You/Just Because.

My DP is Authentique's Renew. I love the yellow with the aqua colors.

Using Ching Chou Kuik's Seahorse Illusion available in digi and rubber.

I colored this sweet image with Copic's. I used a glitter pen to add some touches to her hair and the sea plants.

I added some fine glitter to the seahorse. I had a helper in my 3 year old grandson. He was so sweet; I let him sprinkle the glitter on and he told me "I like making cards with you." He really made me feel good.

I used a CL die for the vine, a HC die and stamp for the flowers. The 3 year old added the Flower Soft to the center of the flowers and more glitter to the flowers. I made the stick pin and used a Bow Easy to tie the ribbon.

Peacock Under the Sea

Peacock Under the Sea - Hi, dear crafting friends! It is time for a new fortnightly challenge at the Sweet Pea Stampers. Our challenge for this fortnight is Mermaids. My favorite for Sweet Pea images. They have so many gorgeous mermaids.

You don't have to use a Sweet Pea image to play along, but we have an extra prize for a Sweet Pea image only.

My papers are Bo Bunny, Key Lime/ I love the bold colors in this pad. It really makes a statement.

My Sweet Pea image is ©ching-chou kuik's The Serene Night in rubber, also available in digi.

I colored her up with Copics and added Stickles to her tail fins, the peacock and the embroidery on her kimono, and a little hint of Rock Candy Stickles on the cherry blossoms.

My cherry blossoms are stems that I cut off and then I also used a tiny gemstone swirl. The ribbon is from a VBS Fishers of Men ribbon.

Flower Power

Flower Power - The new challenge at the Sweet Pea Stampers is... Flower Power.

I love it when I can use lots of pink. Can you guess that pink is my favorite color. My DP is Pressed Petals Baby Girl. I love this pad that I picked up at Bit Lots ages ago.

My die is Memory Box (new.) The glitter hearts were another bargain, that I picked up in the clearance area at Walmart.

For my card I used Elaine Cox's Mirima in digi. Also available in rubber. I colored her with Copics.

The big flower is Melissa Frances trim, that I rolled, spread and a gemstone glued to the center. I also used another Memory Box die for the green stem. I also used several ribbon rose and several buds that I clipped from a stem.

Wings

Wings - The summer is coming to an end, but I have this card to hold it close a little bit longer. Our challenge at Crafts 4 Eternity is summer (sponsored by Crafts 4 Eternity craft shop) and at Alphabet Challenge Blog is to use your newest stamp.

I recently made the design team at The Sweet Pea Stampers, so I just got a bunch of new Sweet Pea digi images and this one by Karen Middleton is titled Alight on Me. I colored this sweet angel with Copics and added some Stickles on the path of the butterflies.

My DP is MME, Breeze. I like the sunny yellows in this pad.

My swirls are made with SB's Floral Flourishes. The flowers were cut from a stem.

My sentiment is SU and the banner is made with Tim Holtz tattered banners.

2 fun and easy challenges, I hope that you will stop by Crafts 4 Eternity and Alphabet Challenge Blog and show us your newest stamp and that it too, will be a summer image.

Sally

Sally - It is time for another challenge at The Sweet Pea Stampers. Our challenge this fortnight is embossing - dry or wet. I used both on my card.

My image is Steampunk Sally by Teresa Sherman. It is available in digi and rubber at Sweet Pea Stamps. I have colored her with Copics. I added a real feather to her hat.

My dry embossing folder is CB. I rubbed a gold ink pad across the raised images. My swirl is CL. My stick pin is from a stick pin swap that I did at CDAC (Crafters Digital Art Center.) It is free to join the art center and they always have a lot going on there. To include swaps and challenges. You can also pick up a lot of Freebies there as well.

My flower is a stem that I pulled off. The bow was tied with my Bow Easy.

I used gold Fran-tage for my wet embossing and finished off my card with 3 Dew Drops.

Roasted

Roasted - I can now announce that I made the DT for The Sweet Pea Stampers. I love their images and now you can even get a lot of them in Digi.

The first challenge as a DT member is men/boys. A tough one as Sweet Pea stamps have so many gorgeous fairy and mermaid images.

For my first card, I have used this sweet Marshmallow Dragon by Lisa Victoria. I colored him with Copics and added white with a poster pen.

My second image on the card is this awesome Treasure Map by Teresa Sherman. This was the first image that I got from Teresa Sherman's shop. It is available in rubber at Sweet Pea Stamps.

I have torn it out, wadded it up several times and then used my distress inks on it.

I have used this image so many times. It is so great for male cards and my grandchildren and their friends have all made their very own treasure map using it. Some of the children that I have made these treasure maps with, are as young as 3. I love to watch their faces when I hand it to them and then tell them to start tearing it.

My designer papers are Teresa Collins, World Traveler. My only embellishment is red pearls and black gemstones.

Come and join our challenge at Sweet Pea Stampers. You don't have to use a Sweet Pea image to play with us, but the images certainly are beautiful and a delight to see.

Sweet Witch

Sweet Witch - Halloween is right around the corner and the challenge this fortnight at Craft Your LinkDays Away is Halloween colors - Green, purple, orange and black. We are sponsored by the fabulous Simon Says Stamp. They have the most delightful products. Such a wide range of crafting supplies. You have got to see all that they carry!
For my card, I used Ching-chou Kuik, Pick a pumpkin by Sweet Pea Stamps. I adore these images. I think they have cast a spell on me; as I love them so much.

My image is colored with Copics and I added some Stickles to her bodice, the cat's wings and the bow on the cat's tail.

This was a scrap of DP from my scrap drawers and the company logo is long gone, so I have no idea as to who made it. The spiders are flocked. So they feel really cool. I used a MS punch on the border and one of the butterflies that I picked up at the scrapbooking convention. I added some black gemstones to the border, to add a little sparkle. I used my wonderful Bow Easy to tie the bow.
