Sweet Sprinkles

Sweet Sprinkles - I am guest designing for Top Tip Tuesday today. Thank you Samantha for inviting me.

The challenge there is everyone's favorite. That's right - Anything goes!!!

I made a shaker box card for today's challenge.

I used the papers and dies from Paper, Trey, Ink Market kit. I have been making a lot of these shaker boxes since my kit arrived.

My image is Girl Love Cupcake by our sponsor, Bugaboo. I colored her with Copics and added just a hint of Stickles on the ruffle and hearts on her apron. The heart shaped sprinkles are some that I bought on clearance eons ago.

I moved the sprinkles around a little, so that you could see that they do move.

This fabulous die cut is also in the package.

Thanks for stopping and by and please go by and see what the other girls have done and to play along with us.

Tree Cupcake

Tree Cupcake - We have a new sketch up at Seems a Little Sketchy. We still don't have a big following yet, which means that the odds of winning are high.

My image is Cupcake Christmas Lights, by Bugaboo, our sponsor. I colored it with Copics and added Stickles to the stars and Diamond Glaze to the lights.

My DP's are MME, 12 Days of Christmas. The Holly leaves are MD and the flower is Petaloo. I added some extra pearls to it.

My sentiment is and punch are SU.

Benched

Benched - It is my teams turn at Sunday Sketch and Stamp. We are sponsored by Bugaboo, who gave us an image to play with.

My DP is Recollections Jolly Holiday.

Here is our sketch. We have a simple one to work with this week.

My image is colored with Copics and I used Stickles on the snow flakes, hat trim on the smaller penquin and  around the image. I used flower soft on the snow at the bottom and on the bench.

My sentiment is SU and I used the ticket punch to punch it out with.

My bow was tied with my Bow Easy and I added a button and charm to bow. I also used some baker's twine.

Sitting Pretty

Sitting Pretty - My team is up at Sunday Sketch and Stamp today. Here is our awesome sketch.

My DP's are Recollections Blue Christmas.

My image is Bugaboo's Ava Christmas Sitter. Bugaboo is our sponsor for this challenge. They have some really cute images, not to mention their fun Stella and Gus images.

Ava was colored with Copics and after cutting with a SB, I used Polar White Flower Soft on her hat.

For my card, I used a SU border die to make the fun cut. I cut it through the entire card, then again with the blue cardstock. I really like how it opens.

The bow was tied with my Bow Easy and I used a fun pearl snowflake button in the center.

Arm in Arm

Arm in Arm - Isn't this just the sweetest couple? Such a simple design and yet memorable.

I designed this card for my DT card at Seems a Little Sketchy and I was also guest designing at Stamp With Fun.

For Seems a Little Sketchy, above is the sketch that is the challenge. And for Stamp With Fun the challenge is Swirls.

No Designer paper on this on. Just some White Wash paper that I ran through the CB with the Swirl embossing folder and then sanded the white off to reveal the pink under it.

My image is Bugaboo's AKV Love, who is our sponsor at Seems a Little Sketchy. This image, like most of Bugaboo's was quick and easy to color with my Copics. The image and mat were cut with a SB.

My flower is a stem that I cut down and the swirly vine is CL. I then added 3 buttons.

In closing, I would like to thank Stamp With Fun for inviting me to guest design with them. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Toy Soldier

Toy Soldier - I don't do CAS cards very often, but I loved the simplicity of this little nutcracker/toy soldier. No designer papers this time, just cardstock.

This fellow is one of Bugaboo's creations. Don't you just love their images?

I colored him with Copics. No glitter this time. This one is for my grandson and he really doesn't like for me to girl it up to much. LOL

My sentiment is Hot Off the Press. I used two SU punches for the sentiment. I like that the sentiment is Celebrate. This card could be used as a birthday card or a Christmas card.

My only embellishment is 6 tiny red brads.

Our challenge this week at One Stop Craft Stop is boy toys.

My grandson painted a nutcracker a few years back that he is quite proud of. He was 5 at the time, but he loved doing it and was quite proud to see it come out with the Christmas decorations.

Benched

Benched  - Today at Sunday Sketch and Stamp we have a new sketch for  you. This is a very simple one, cause we know how busy everyone is at this time of year!

My DP is Cloud 9, Harvest Holiday.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Robyn's Fetish. I used this cute little pinguin couple from Robyn's Fetish. I colored it with Copic's and added some Stickles to the snow.

The flower is a Tim Holtz die. It made it very easy!

Frankie

Frankie - Today's card is my Design team card for Seems a Little Sketchy. We are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps. Jody always comes up with the cutest images.

Here is Jenn's sketch. It is a simple one, but oh, so cute. Just like the image!

I actually made 8 of these, so that I could give them to my friends that I craft with every Wednesday. They have been getting together on Wednesdays for over 10 years. Due to my moving around, I met them shortly before I moved away for 5 years and I returned a little over a year ago. I really missed this sweet group of talented ladies and am so glad that now that my husband has retired, I never have to leave this awesome group again.

The image is Frankie Peekers. I colored Frankie with my Copics and used my air brush for the purple background.

My papers are from a seasonal blog by The Paper Studio. The frame was cut with my Cricut and the Happy Haunting cartridge. I cut the raven with black glitter paper.

The glittery bat is Recollections.

Come and get sketchy with us at Seems a Little Sketchy. It is a fortnightly challenge, so it is great for those design team people who want to work a little ahead. As Seems a Little Sketchy is fairly unknown, not many people enter, so that means you have a greater chance of winning.

Teal Christmas

Teal Christmas - This fortnight challenge at Creative Card Crew is Christmas. That's right it is time to start moving into the season for us card makers.

I have used one of my favorite Christmas paper pads by The Paper Studio.  I love the teals that are in it. While teal is not a traditional Christmas color, it does go well with the reds and greens in this pad.

My image is Bugaboo Stamps is Christmas Brat Girl Dress. I must say that her dress is pretty. Looks like she is ready for a Christmas program.

Brat Girl is colored with Copics, then inked with Antique Linen and Peacock Feathers distress ink. The cracked look was achieved by using a stamp that was inked with Tea Dye distress ink, stamped off the page, then on the edges of the image. The cracked rubber stamp is by Deadbeat Designs. I found is at a scrap booking Convention in Dallas.

I added stardust Stickles to the rim and ball of her hat.

The flowers are made using MS's flower Lace corner punch. I found a tutorial on some one's blog on how to do this. I would love to give the site and credit to the person, but I do not remember where I found it. If someone know, please leave me a comment, so that I can properly credit her and link up for everyone to see her lovely tutorial.

I used the same MS corner punch on the tag.

Thanks for stopping by and join us with your Christmas creation at Creative Card Crew.

Barefoot

Barefoot - I have just spent a wonderful day with my crafty friends at the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Tulsa. I can't wait to show all of you what I bought!! I got a lot of papers. Some of it was blocks of cardstock at a really good price. My big buy was at the Heartfelt Creations booth. I bought the flower shaping tools and mat. I also bought some lovely chunky glass glitter. I am working on a peacock image and I think the shade that I bought will be lovely with it.

Todays challenge at Sunday Sketch and Stamp is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps. They have the cutest images. So cute, yet simple and quick to color.
Here is our sketch for this weeks challenge.

My card is made using DP's from Pressed Petal, Baby Girl.

My image is Bugaboo's Barefoot. I colored her with Copics, then stamped around the image with a swirl stamp and Spun Sugar distress inks.

I used a ribbon flower and placed a yellow pearl inside it.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Keep Swimming

Keep Swimming - The challenge at Craft Your Days Away is Olympic Dreams and we are sponsored by Bugaboo.

Everyone has dreams, but for most of us it doesn't include the Olympics. It is just to high of a bar for most of us to reach. This makes the Olympics and our awesome athletes all the more modern day heros. It is more than just training, it is that rare blend of talent, training and opportunity.

I am proud of what the athletes from my country have accomplished and of how hard they have all worked to get there.

My DP are from Target's Dollar spot. I bought this package about 5 years ago, so it has been in my stash for a long time.

My star punch is MS. I used a few star buttons.

My image is Bugaboo's BF Swimming and is colored with Copics.

Martian Fun

Martian Fun - Bugaboo is sponsoring this fortnights sketch challenge at Seems a Little Sketchy. We have new designers joining us, so take a look at the new talent!

The DP was a scrap from my blue scrap drawer. Yes, I have my scraps divided by color and stored in a chest that I had custom made for that purpose. The drawers are 12 x 12 and there are quite a few of them in the chest.

I have photos of my craft room on another page of this blog. I was very blessed; as my husband just retired and we had our dream home built. I love the craft room that my wonderful husband let me have total freedom to design and make it however I wanted.
My image is martianship by Bugaboo. The images from there are all so cute and quick to color up. I colored martianship with Copic's, then added Diamond Glaze to the opened ship and the martians helmet to make them shiny.

The stars were punched with CM punches out of scrap sugar paper. I love how sparkly sugar paper. I tore the paper, so that the martian ship would look as if he were bursting through space.

Did you notice the glittery milky way? That is glow-in-the-dark glitter. I photographed it without lights, but the effect did not show up.
