Looking Back at My Favorite Fall Images (That I Illustrated)

Hi Everyone!
I have been going through my rather huge collection of cards that I have hung on to so I can put them in a local craft booth. It was cool seeing some that I had forgotten that I had done. :)
While sorting them into seasons, I realized that my Fall illustrations are some of my favorite. Perhaps because Fall is my favorite season.
I thought I would share some of my favorites of the season with you again, over the next few days. :)

Available for instant download from Clear Dollar Stamps for just $2.50

Check OUT The Book I Created As a Record of All of My Favorite Cards and Other Crafty Things! You can do one too! :)

Hello Everyone!

A couple of my friends suggested that I take some samples of my cards to CHA in case anyone would like to see "what I do". I had originally planned on just carry-ons and didn't want to drag cards because my favorites are thick with lots of embellishments and they would have taken up lots of space in my bags.
I also have lots of photos stored on my computer and need to purge for space.
My fix for that was to create a book to keep all of my favorite cards in!
I had a blast making this book! :) You can make them super quick by using the pre-made layouts and simply insert your photos, or you can do like I did and completely design it yourself. I wanted to choose the colors and embellishments that would coordinate with and best showcase my cards.

I thought I would share a few pages with you.
Remember, you can click on the images to enlarge.

I did a few pages with my clear stamp and digi stamp illustrations.

I also added pages of  my design teams past, current, (and one that's coming). :)

I didn't show you here because I didn't take the time to clear it, but I also scanned the pages of the publications I have had cards in. I'm pretty much keeping a record of my entire crafting hobby.
I've derided to do a new book each year now also. I am saving my favorite creations as I go in a special folder so It will be super easy to find them when I'm ready to create the next book.

How did I do it you ask?

You are going to LOVE it!
You can create soft cover or hard cover and they are super inexpensive. Prices start as low as $4.89!
You can also create cards, stationary, and calendars.
Today and tomorrow you can get 30% OFF!

Digi Release Day @ Clear Dollar Stamps and a New Challenge @ Really Reasonable Ribbon

Hello Everyone!

Today is digi release day at Clear Dollar Stamps and I illustrated and colored 3 of them!  :)
The first is one I am super pleased with. I did more realistic coloring which was my "normal" style before I started stamping and making cards. Why not incorporate the way I love to color into my card making world?
This card was made with my new  "Basket Kittens" digi set.

The cardstock is Brilliant White, Wheat, and Teal, all from Discount Card Stock.
The sweet ribbon is Turquoise Organza from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive and Helmar ZapDots.

This is what my "Basket Kittens" set looks like. You get the colored version that you can simply print and create with, but then I also included a line art version for those of you who would rather color it yourself. It also comes with 4 fun sentiments. It's just $4.00 for the instant download! :)

My next card was done with my "Paper Christmas Trees" digi.
Hope you will head on over to the Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings blog, take a peek at what the other girls have created, and maybe even join in on the fun. You could win a prize from Really Reasonable Ribbon!  :)

For this card, I used Discount Card Stock's Brilliant White and Prussian Blue.
The pretty Moss Green Double Faced Satin is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive and Helmar ZapDots adhesives.

This is what the "Paper Christmas Trees" digi set looks like. I have pre-grouped the trees for you and have them set up as individual files too. There are also line art trees that you can either print on white paper to color yourself or...print directly onto your favorite designer paper to cut out.
This set is also just $4.00 for instant download.

My final card was done with my "Hearts and Holly" digi set. It is not exactly done in "normal" Christmas colors but I think that is what will make them stand out in a crowd of cards! :)

I layered my digital designer papers and the image right on my computer. All I had to do was print and embellish! This card took less than 10 minutes to make! When you have lots of Christmas cards to make...quick is a GOOD thing!  :)
I used Brilliant White (my standard digi printing paper) from Discount Card Stock.
The pretty Capri Blue Satin Grosgrain ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I used Helmar 450 Quick Dry Adhesive.
This is what my "Hearts and Holly" digi set looks like. It comes with "Keep Jesus in Your Heart!" and "Keep Christmas in Your Heart!" versions in both colored and line art, plus 3 matching 6" x6" digital papers and separate heart and holly colored images, for just $3.50 for instant download!

I hope you liked my cards and digis today! I would love to hear which of the three are your favorite so I will know what styles you like best for future digi sets!

Please take a few minutes to head over to the Clearly iStamp blog to see what the rst of the CDS DT have created with these images. You can also check out all of the new digi releases while you are there.
Don't forget to check out the latest Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings challenge too!

A Mistletoe Christmas Card

Hi Everyone!

I posted about my new Mistletoe digi stamp earlier,
but decided to go ahead and make a card with it really quick today after all.  :)
Fickle me! :)

It was quick too...print, cut, doodle with a Copic marker, distress with some Ranger Archival ink, add a snippet of some cool Hunter Green Jute Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and voila!
I added some dewdrops to make it dimensional for today's Split Coast Stampers challenge.

The cardstock is Brilliant White, Posh Cherry Satin Sparkle, and Posh Spruce Satin Sparkle, all from Discount Card Stock.
Of course, it was all put together with Helmar's ZapDots, and Helmar Craft Glue! :)

Here is another peek at my Mistletoe digi set available for instant download for just $3.00. ;)

Thanks for dropping by again today!

Hugs,
True :D

CDS Digi Release Day and a New RRR Challenge. Come Check Out my Latest Digis! :)

Hi Everyone!

I am very excited today!
It's digi release day over @ Clear Dollar Stamp's - Clearly iStamp blog and....a new "Fall Fun" challenge over @ Really Reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings!
The most exciting part...I get to show you some of the projects that I have been working on the last couple of weeks and they are all done with my illustrations! :)
That gorgeous, gorgeous ribbon is California Poppy Hand-dyed Silk from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
The cardstock is Brilliant White (for printing my image and papers) and Bazzil Clover Leaf Dotted Swiss from Discount Card Stock.

The "Autumn Blessings" images have been such a hit that I thought I would offer up a colored version. These would be a quick and fun way to create multiple cards, place setting cards, disposable napkin rings etc.
I did both bright and softer muted pumpkins, with and without hash-marks for distressing.

I did a couple of fall paper packs.
The first is True-ly Fall which is the one I used for the card above. It is just $4.50 and comes in either 12"x12" or 81/2"x11" formats.

The second paper set is called "True-ly Autumn" and also is also just $4.50 and available in both 12"x12" and 81/2"x11" formats.
It works great with the softer colored pumpkins in the "Autumn Blessing" set!

You might have seen my "Autumn Blessings" pumpkin before because Clear Dollar Stamps has it in both clear stamp, and line art digi also.
If you would prefer to color your own, this set would be your ticket! It is just $2.50 for instant download!

The next cards I have to share with you are done with my new "Toasty Bears" digi set.
I created my samples in a couple of different ways to show you the versatility of digis.
The first card was done kind of the "normal" way. I printed out the image, the sentiment, and the papers separately on Discount Card Stock's - Brilliant White, then cut and layered them.

If you have lots of Christmas cards to make, this next method might just be the way to go!
I layered my papers, images, and sentiments in Photo Shop. I then tweaked it by adding "Robert & Trudy are...", drew in some border lines (optional) then printed out the entire card front in one piece. You can size them so you can get 4 card fronts per sheet of cardstock or...you can print them out with 2 images side by side at the bottom of a page set to horizontal orientation, cut them apart, score, and you are done!!!
You never have to worry about running out of Christmas cards. Just save your page set up and if you need more....just print!  ;)

I do need to mention that for some reason, my printer made the sky come out a different color of blue than the original colors (I didn't even notice until just now when I added the promo picture of the set below) but, it still looks good if I say so myself!  :)

This is what the "Toasty Bears" digi set looks like.
It is just $4.00 for instant download.

The girls on the Clear Dollar Stamp design team liked the polar bears so much that it was suggested it would be a great image for brown bears too. Soooo...I went back to my coloring program and did them in brown also. Of course I had to add some trees and some S'more fixin's because after all...we all know what bears do in the wood right?
THEY MAKE S"MORES!!!! :)
The image was printed on Brilliant White and the card base is Wheat, both from Discount Card Stock.

This set is called "S'mores Bears" and is just $3.00 for instant download.
*Note*
This one doesn't come with the line art to color yourself but the "Toasty Bears" set does.  ;)

I hope you have enjoyed all of my cards as much as I enjoyed coloring the images for you!
I want to invite you to head on over to the Clearly iStamp blog and see the other new digi releases plus other projects created with mine.
Don't forget to come back when you are done to check out the new "Fall Fun" challenge over @ Really reasonable Ribbon's Ramblings. You could join in on the fun and get a chance to win one of two $10.00 gift certificates for RRR products!

Thanks for hangin' in there on my long long post!  :)

Hugs,
True :D
