ATC trade for Stampotique

Hello!

A while back we were prompted to make Artist Trading Cards (ATC's) for 2 persons. The theme was "Nursery Rhymes" I chose to use the fun loving Stampotique Nerd Cat stamp.

I had purchased the Flow paper lovers book, and came across the vintage photo cardstock paper.  Thus I turned the lady into the Queen.

This is how the above ATC's came about to depict the following Nursery Rhyme.

Pussy cat, pussy cat, where have you been?
I've been to London to see the fair Queen.
Pussy cat, pussy cat, what did you there?
I frightened a little mouse, under her chair.

The rhyme was first recorded by the composer and nursery rhyme collector James William Elliott in his National Nursery Rhymes and Nursery Songs (1870)

What is your favorite Nursery Rhyme?

Happy Krafting!

Tanya

Stampotique's "Naughty" themed ATC cards

Good Morning!

Here is a picture of my Artist Trading Cards for the "Naughty" themed Stampotique ATC trade.

I called them "Red Light District". I did not have a traffic light stamp, so I drew one up myself, colored the red one in and added some glaze to make it shine.  I then made it look like Smumanha the mermaid was naked and covering herself with feathers.

Do you think I succeeded in capturing the "Naughty" theme?

Happy Krafting!

Tanya

Black and White Stampotique Exchange

Hello,
These are my Black and White ATC cards for the Stampotique ATC exchange.  They made it to their far away destinations, and were received with smiles.

Each stamp you see on these are from the Stampotique store.  I am in love with every single stamp in the store.  You place your order, and then they make the stamps, old school style, with wood.   They always stamp perfectly!

Happy Krafting!

Tanya

My Guy

Good Morning,

Here is my adorable Smile  stamp that my darling husband bought me a few years ago for Christmas.  It is a Stampotique Originals Stamp.  I adore the quirky, not so "normal" images they have by Daniel Torrente and Jill Penney.

This was an easy peasy card to make.  I took out my Scenic Route paper, and cropped them to fit a 4 x 4 card.

Smile was colored with my prismacolor pencils.  To finish it off I added the American Crafts letters, some bling, and the Happy Anniversary stickers.  Yup, this one was for my darling husband on our anniversary.

Stampotique currently has a New Release Blog Hop going on.  The images are stunning, I urge you to drop by.  You can find the start of the Blog Hop HERE.

Have a Krafty Day Peeps!

Hugs
Tanya

Glorious Greens with Gingersnap Creations

Good Morning,

A New Year, New stamps, and a New challenge. My husband bought me some wonderful Stampotique Origninals stamps for Christmas, I am just loving the Daniel Torrente and Jill Penney stamps. Stampotique has a website where you can build a wish list and have it emailed to someone. Pretty handy, my husband has a list now, I just have to keep hinting now and then, and who knows maybe I will get the occasional surprise :)

This pretty gal is named Portland, and I am playing along with Gingersnap Creations "Glorious Greens" challenge this week.  Stampotique is sponsoring them, and it would be fab to win a 30$ gift certificate.   I am going to enter this into the Simon Says "Anything Goes" challenge as well.

This was made by paper cutting and gluing them together, a fast and easy method.  I used some Tim Holtz ink around the edges and colored Portland in with my Copic markers

Hope you are having a wonderful Friday,
Hugs,
Tanya
