It's time for a new Polkadoodle challenge and this week the theme is

Anything Goes

The DT were challenged to make a Father's Day card and I've used Wizardly Magic Little Dude, coloured with Promarkers and added glossy accents to his glasses.  I've made a star card from my own template and a sheet of kraft card.

Good luck with the challenge!

Grumpy

Sometimes its difficult to make a bloke card that isn't cute or fluffy so this sentiment from Dr Digi does the trick!  I've enlarged it - from Grumpy Sentiments Sheet - and printed out onto card, coloured it with Promarkers then added the star shaped card blank (my own template) behind it in shocking yellow and a faux running stitch around the edges with a black fineliner pen.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Bugaboo Holiday Chaos 2016 - Day 5

Day 5 of the Bugaboo Holiday Chaos challenge!  The challenge was to make a funny card.  I've used the Make It Snappy - Friends digi, coloured with Promarkers and watercolour pencils.

The star shaped card base is from one of my own templates and I've added a silver wooden snowflake and an off cut from a Christmas tree garland.

Fairly quick and easy!

Prezzie

A quick Christmas card rustled up with the help from Dr Digi and the fab Prezzie digi.  I've coloured it with Promarkers and added a sentiment that is personal to the recipient.

I've added it to a star shaped card - green card from my stash and I've added a faux running stitch around the edge.

Pretty simple really!  Don't know why I've not thought of this combination before!

I'd like to enter the following:

Fetch A Sketch Challenge 58

It's time for a new Fetch A Sketch challenge and here is the sketch:

The challenge is sponsored by Funky Hand and of course I've used Funky Hand papers in my creation! I've not kept to the circle shape but went for a star shape instead as I was asked to make a male 21st Birthday card and thought a star shape would be more apt.

I've used papers from one of the new Christmas download collections that is due to be released very soon and this particular download is very versitle and can be used for non Christmas too! Which is great for the crafter as more uses!

I've used a simple star shaped template for my card and then added smaller stars to the front in contrasting papers, inking the edges and adding a faux stitched line with a black fineliner around the edges. The smaller stars are cut with an X Cut die and the numbers are Sizzix and have been liberally coated with glitter glue! I've attached the numbers to the star with craft wire so that they boing around!

Good luck with the challenge! For more details, pop over to Fetch A Sketch!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

Crafting When We Can: Repeat Image
Glitter and Sparkle: Anything Goes
Quirky Crafts: I Like To Move It, Move It
Di's Digi Challenge: Birthdays
Card Crafters Circle: For The Boys

Jellypark Challenge - Get In Shape

And here is my Jellypark challenge post - and hopefully the last blog post for today!!  The challenge theme for the fortnight is:

Get In Shape

And I took it literally and made a star shaped card!  I'm trying to use up offcuts of printed digital paper so this is a mixture of Funky Hand (red) and Polkadoodles (spotty) but I couldn't tell you which cd's they are from!  Sorry!

The template is my own and all the other stars are cut with an X Cut die, inked and added with foam pads.  Really quite quick and easy to put together once I got going!  The image is a fab Jellypark one and I do like using it!  This is Superboy and he's only £1.25 to buy!

I've coloured him with Promarkers and added him to the star with foam pads.  Hope you can join in with the challenge and if you've not already joined the Jellypark club you're missing out on lots of lovely freebies!  Also sign up to the newsletter too as there are freebies in that!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

365 Day Cards:  Day 50 - Fancy Folds

Fetch A Sketch Challenge 39

Time for another Fetch A Sketch challenge and this fortnight it's one that is perfect for this time of year:

The winner from this challenge will have the chance to be a Guest Designer for a future challenge!  Here is my take on the sketch:

I've used my own star shaped template, layered it with some rather lurid pink card and then layered a sheet of Pink Petticoat paper which I must have printed at least 5 years ago as its on photo paper (I've not printed on that for a long time!) and then added a very glittery and sparkly pink snowflake - from The Range last year and its a pack of tree decorations!

And then the iridescent snowflakes have been glued to a strip of acetate and then added to the points of the star.  Its a lot more vibrant in real life - the photo doesn't really do it justice due to the naff winter weather we are having!

Good luck with the challenge!

I'd like to enter the following:

2 Sisters:  Snowflakes
My Time To Craft:  Non Traditional Christmas Colours
Crafty Catz:  Shaped Cards

Jellypark Challenge - Stars Shining Brightly

Today is being a rather busy day for blog posts! But this is the last one of the day!! If you're looking for the Funky Ink blog hop then its underneath! And Simply Create Too is beneath that!

It's a new challenge at Jellypark plus there are also two new digi releases too but those will be blogged over the weekend (3 posts in one day is enough for anyone!!) but if you can't wait to see them, have a look at the Jellypark blog - some wonderful designs from the girls!!

The theme this fortnight is:

Stars Shining Brightly

And I've gone literal and made a star shaped card.  The template is my own (basically, a star shape and then add a fold (taking care not to fold one of the points) and then trim where it meets the other side!  The papers I found in my stash although I have a feeling they are from a Polkadoodle cd and I've added stickles to the edges.

The image is part of the set drawn for the recent Papercraft Essentials magazine and it's available in the shop to buy for only £1.25!  Boy Playing With Train has been coloured with Promarkers and layered onto the card with foam padsThe banner is a Sizzix die cut and I've handwritten the sentiment, shaded it with Promarkers and then added stickles around the edges.

And finally added a string of tiny little lights!  I find that glossy accents are the best at sticking things like this as they dry clear and quick too!!

Good luck with the challenge and pop back over the weekend to see the two new release stamps and what I've made with them!

I'd like to enter the following challenges:
