Daring Card Makers Challenge - Say It Loud

It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week is

Say It Loud!

I've made a bold birthday card using large die cut letters (I've used spray inks on some offcuts of card before cutting the letters) and layered onto silver card.  The little letters used the bits that were left over plus added some stars cut from various other left over bits!

Daring Card Makers Challenge - Dictionary Day!

 It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week is

Dictionary Day!

I've made a simple card using die cuts - the letters I cut from the navy base card and then added off white pearlescent card as an infill, the bottles are also die cuts plus I've added die cut numbers, letters and little stars.

Great for using up scraps of card!  Good luck with the challenge!

Daring Card Makers Challenge - Three of Something

It's time for a new Daring Cardmakers challenge and the theme this week is

Three of Something

I've gone for three balloons!  I've used a fab die, cut from offcuts of card (and added some die cut stars too!) and cut the sentiment with an alphabet die set and used the negative for a different look.

Just a faux running stitch around the edge of the card and a bit of highlighting on the balloons with a white gel pen.  Good luck with the challenge!

I've made this card using Schrodinger from Dr Digi for one of my team who recently left us for pastures new.

I've embossed a panel behind the 10cm tall die cut letter - I've coloured them with inks and Schrodinger has been coloured with Promarkers.

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 197 - Blue

It's time for a new Crimbo Crackers challenge and the theme is

Blue

I've made rather a small card as I have an awful lot of little envelopes to use up!  I usually buy Christmas cards in the sales for the envelopes and I seem to have amassed a lot of little square ones!  I've used an offcut of dark blue card from my stash as the background, die cut a part circle, rubbed blue inks on it and then run it through a Gemini embossing folder which I then went over with dots of liquid pearls so it looked more snow-like.

I've cut the reindeer three times for stability and used offcuts of white card then added the organza ribbon from my stash.

Here is a card using Stan The Fan from Dr Digi.  I've coloured him with Promakers and layered him onto some die cut grass and the backing paper I found in my stash and I think I've had it for about 15 years....

I made it for one of my team who is a big Man Utd fan and of course, was turning 40!  Die cut letters from black card and a handwritten sentiment tag.

Daring Card Makers Challenge - Elemental Inspiration

Hello!  It's the first Friday of the month for the Daring Card Makers Challenge and that means its an Elemental Inspiration week!

I've gone for the aqua and orange colours, the patterns on the surfboards, star shape on the shell, drinks and straws.

The bottle dies are MFT and I've cut them and the banner using offcuts of card.  The patterned paper is Echo Park, Splash which I found in my stash and the embroidery thread is from my stash.

I've used some of the horrifying amounts of ribbon I have in my stash to fill the top part of this card - the die is unbranded and I've cut it from the same card as the base and then added burgundy half pearls in the centre of each snowflake.

Plus by using the half pearls, it helped if I missed a bit when gluing the die cut to the card base!  Good luck with the challenge!  I'd like to enter the following:

I recently bought this cute little space rocket die - Cut and Make - for £1 from The Range.  I cut it twice and then cut the flames again twice to layer up.

I made the background with spray inks - silver and copper plus added some tiny punched silver stars.

Introducing Miss Winnie!

How cute is Miss Winnie!  Made with one of the new dies from Polkadoodles - I've used Miss Winnie plus used papers from the cardstock pack - skin, hair, dress plus the two different backing papers on the card.  There are lots of dies in the Miss Winnie set and are interchangeable with the other two Winnie dies.

I've added a stamped sentiment from my stash and added dotted liquid pearls around the edge of the Sizzix die cut and the sentiment.  Plus half pearls (including the tiny ones on the shoes!) and ribbon also from my stash.

Time for a Polkadoodle challenge!  The theme as always is

The DT were challenged to make a Christmas project that was mainly white but with a hint of colour.  I've used Holly Sparkles Christmas Unicorn from the Winnie White collection.  Coloured with Promarkers plus some die cut snowflakes, lots of sparkle and organza ribbons; cute!

I've also added some half pearls too and the edge of the image and card blank I've scored with a bone folder.  Good luck with the challenge!

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 137 - White

It's time for another Crimbo Crackers challenge and the theme for the fortnight is:

White

I've used white linen effect cardstock for the base and scored a border around the edge.  The snowflake garland is a Memory Box die cut and I've added half pearls to the centres of the snowflakes.

The sentiment has been printed on my PC and the tag is a Sizzix die cut.  Beading wire, and wooden glittery snowflake are all from my stash.

I've used a Sizzix die cut for the main panel and then bout the reindeer head and hooves from ebay - adding shadow and depth with Promarkers, the nose is a glitter pom pom from my stash.

I've also added a sentiment and attached it with a half pearl.  Patterned paper from my stash.

Crimbo Crackers Challenge 115 - Shaped Card

It's time for a new Crimbo Crackers challenge and I'm joined by a Guest Designer!  The theme for the fortnight is

Shaped Card

I've used a pre printed die cut decoupage card kit from a pack - Pepper's Christmas Party that I've had for a few years and found in my stash (whilst looking for something else!)  I had to trim some edges as they had a little tab and I've inked the edge with a rather worn out pad and added a straight edge to the bottom of the card so it would stand up.

All the decoupage elements have been added with foam pads.  A really quick and easy card to make!  Good luck with the challenge!
