Dr Digi 7th Birthday Celebrations

Dr Digi is 7 years old this week and we are having a count down of the top 7 selling digis and I'm showing #5 which is Hole In One Hal and I've used a sheet of the Polkadoodles Heartfelt Christmas 8x8 paper pack for the background.

19th Hole

Here is a card I made for a work colleague who was leaving and was anticipating spending some of his down time on the golf course.  And probably the 19th hole!  Made using Hole In One Hal from Dr Digi, coloured with Promarkers with Memory Box clouds and Clearly Besotted grass, coloured with Promarkers.

I made the the sign myself with a mini X Cut die and a cocktail stick.

Perfect way to spend a sunny day for Hal - I've used the pre-coloured Hole In One Hal from Dr Digi and added him to the background and used one of the sentiments from the Comic Sentiment Sheet 01 which has been coloured with Promarkers. I've made the speech bubble on the pc.

Perfect Weather For Golf

Ah, there is nothing like a good round of golf! Especially as the weather in the UK is so fantastic at the moment. However, as Hole in One Hal knows, its the early bird that catches the worm, or in this case the entire golf course to himself. Which is no bad thing as he does like to exagerate back at the Club House just how well he managed the round.....

A Bracing Round of Golf

Hole in One Hal will be out on the golf course no matter what the weather. Some say its his big personality that keeps him warm. Others say its his loud attire which emits a glow at 10 paces.

It's time for the Midway Extra post at Simply Create Too and my turn to hopefully provide some inspiration!  The theme for the challenge is:

I made this card for my brother who enjoys a round of golf every now and again and has an uncanny knack of golfing in extreme weather - hailstones, thunderstorms or heavy heavy rain.  And I think once it was boiling hot.

This image from Doctor Digi - Hole In One Hal - actually looks a bit like my brother in a nice caricature kind of way!  I've coloured him with Promarkers, added a previous Funky Hand freebie paper for the sky and clouds and made the grass with my Marianne Creatables icicle die (turn it upside down, and hey presto - grass!)

 

The sun, golf clubs and balls are all die cuts and I made the golf flag myself along with wonky writing!

I think he liked it.  He made a strange sound.  But then again, we had just been out for a large (and wonderful) meal so it could have been emitted from a different orifice!
