fun in the sun with Key Lime

Rose here with my last post for the month. I am sure you have been enjoying all the awesome creations my fellow Twine-istas have been showing you this month using the beautiful Sorbet collection and the fun summer stamp set. :)

Today I have made a fun summer card and used some Key Lime from the Sorbet collection to make a "loopy" flower.................

The owl sticker looks like he is having "fun in the sun" 

so this was the perfect sentiment to use!!

hello summer / coffee fun!!

Happy Friday all!!!!Rose here with my first post for our "Summer Fun" month.

My sister loves coffee so I made her a fun sleeve for a reusable cup and added a little gift card in a tag holder.

I started out with a cup sleeve and dressed it up with two colors of twine, then added a little charm to finish it off.

I used my PTI tag die to cut two from a glassine bag, them used some washi tape to hold the front and back together to make the gift card holder.

Rose here. All this month we are using Firecracker twine. The first thing that came to mind was a patriotic themed card to go with this fab twine. So here is what I came up with.............

I am in love with the Twine Flowers that my fellow Twine-ista Deb showed us how to make in THIS tut!! So easy to make, you should give them a try :)

Congratulations graduate!

Rose here with a super fun easy gift box that is perfect for a graduate. I found this cut file in the Silhouette shop and decided to make it using the schools colors of Orange and Black.

The Big Congrats stamp set from Inspired by Stamping goes perfect with the cap. I used some yummy Timeless Twine from Bella Creationz to create the tassel and add the bow.

Seeing how we have already hit triple digits (a month early!) I figure it is time for a Summer card :)
Shaker cards are a big thing right now so I decided to give one a try using some items from the Bella Creation Esty shop.

I used a 4" doily, a glassine bag, and sequins to create my shaker. For my first one I think it came out pretty good!!

Sweet Twine Candy......................

Hi all, Rose here. Today I have  a "Sweet" card to share.

I thought it would be fun to make some sweet candy in some fun colors using bakers twine from Bella Creationz .

These were so fun and easy to make! I started with a 1.25 circle of cardstock. Then just glued down the twine, starting from the outer edge. Added some velum for the wrapper and BAM! they were done. They remind me of the huge suckers I used to get each time we went to Disney Land as a child.

Easter Treat Bag

Rose here. As you have noticed we are mixing it up this month and having a different theme each day. Today is Bags or Tags day so I have created this sweet Easter treat bag to show you.

Still need to fill it with candy, but will wait until it is to be handed out so I don't eat all the candy myself! lol

Twine-dyed Easter Eggs!!

Rose here with another Spring project. 

Using wood grain cs I cut out this picket fence cut file from the Silhouette store that makes a super cute Easter basket. Added a vine boarder using a punch and finished it off with some Timeless Twine. Then I "dyed" the eggs with Timeless Twine and some sequins.

My boy Q loves the hopping chick so am lucky I got a photo of it!! lol

Spring Bunny Card!!!

Hi all, Rose here. Today I have a cute bunny card to show you.

This month the Twine-sitas are making Spring themed items.

Well when i think of Spring bunnies come to mind!!

The bunny is a TH die and i made his little cotton tail out of Simply White by rolling, starting from the center of a .5" circle towards the outside.(ends up looking like one of the huge suckers you can by at Disney Land! lol) Then to finish him off,I  added a bow with some Pumpkin Orange and Lemonade Yellow.

Last minute Valentine's treat bags!!

Rose here. Today I have a last minute Valentine's treat bag.

I didn't work yesterday but wanted to take some 

treats into my coworkers. Made a few but only showing
one as they were all the same. *winks*

Figured a day late would still be OK. lol

I started with a Glassine bag and embossed it with a hearts embossing folder from Cuttle Bug. Made a topper from a 4" Paper Lace Doily, punched some holes for the sweet Timeless Twine Strawberry Cupcake Twine to go through, and added a little heart with a gold embossed sentiment. 

I am sure these are going to be a hit at work :)
