PlanNerd Sunday - by Amber

I know that I said I'd never get into planners, but with all of the cute accessories and planners these days, it's really hard to just say no.

Hi friends, it's Amber with Best Stamped Intentions and I'm up today with my first PlanNerd post for Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz.

I have to admit, this was REALLY fun to put together.  But don't be deceived - it isn't as easy as it looking!  This spread took over 2 hours to make but I wanted it PERFECT - CUTE yet FUNCTIONAL.

Here is the main week:
I LOVE the weekend stamp from the Weekend Plans stamp set!

I LOVE the journaling spot on the PlanNerd and the Project Planner spot on the PlanNerd 2 stamp sets.  The journaling spot is also GREAT for making lists (like chores...pffft.) and shopping lists!

When stamping, one technique that I'm really loving is double stamping w/o re-inking.  It's just fun!!

You can find all of these AWESOME planner stamps (and more!) in the Bella Creations Etsy shop.

Mrs. Brimbles Smore love!!

Hi All, it's Anna aka Mrs Brimbles here to show you my planner pages again.

As you will see my stamping is coming on leaps and bounds! I seem to make less of a mess with an older ink pad and although the ink is paler, I am actually quite liking this looks as to me it does look more 'vintage' which matches the type writer font perfectly!

Mr B wears 'nerd glasses' so I thought it would be great to use that stamp for our date night he he!

I love the mix of my handwriting, stamping, my doodles, washi tape and stickers. It is all of me, all of who I am rolled into my planner pages. I keep my pages all decorated up to look back on as a reflection of what I have done and what we have been up to. For me 'creative planning' is just an extension of my memory keeping and journalling!

I hope you enjoyed seeing my pages as much as I enjoy sharing them with you!

Mrs Brimbles in the house!!

I had a really busy start to my week with personal stuff going on and therefore I didn't really have much need of my planner on Monday and Tuesday. That was fine with me though as it meant that I could stick pretty things down which does make me happ that and little doodles of ice creams. Well it has been hot and I have had ice cream on my mind lol!

This week I decided to change my ink pad. I decided to give my old drying up one a go to see what difference that would make in terms of my inking. I actually found it a bit on the easier side as it meant that I didn't make so many smudges although the ink colour isn't as intense as using the other ink pad. I really love the effect that it gave for the words and arrow that you can see on Wednesday. I really like that more muted / toned down look to the ink. I also realised that when I am stamping words, I quite like them without check off boxes next to them. I don't know why, but visually this speaks out to me a lot more. It looks much more 'typewritery' which I know isn't even proper English but I just love how it looks.

I also decided to use little hearts for ticking off and I think I may be in love with them! It make the pesky housework all that much nicer don't you think!!

Watermelon planner page

Deb here from Craftin' Chaos. I was to post that on Sunday but decided to wait until today. I want to work on some stickers and a clip to make my page layout.

Its all about watermelon's today. The clips turned out cute and I love the pages. I used the new weekend plans stamp set as well as plan to be fit, plannerd sets. Bella Creationz has so many fun stamp sets and even if they are not "planner" stamps you can utilize just about any of the stamps for your planner. I like to use the little sets like Hello Summer etc. too.

Guest Designer Anna Brim

I have been loving the flamingo craze (can we call it craze? Yes I think so) and mega pleased that it has also found it's way into the stationery and planner world! I have been using and loving the Bella Creationz Flamingo Dashboard. It is just so beautifully pink and kitsch, I totally love it and it goes so beautifully against the hot pink inside my gold Color Crush planner from Websters pages...

On the planning stamps front I am still experimenting and learning but I am slowly getting there. I am still learning when enough ink is enough ink on a stamp and I am finding that I am smudging less and less now. I have gone from the nervous to the actually really loving and enjoying it stage.

The project stamp is perfect for me for my blog post scheduling. The stamp fits perfectly into the day section which is great. I wanted to use it this week to see how I got on with it and I think it is great. I am not sure that I would want to use it on every day as it might take over but as I am going to be seperating out my personal and blogging and working life from each other, this will be perfect to use in my blog planner.

I did get a little bit carried away as you can see though I did actually forget to stamp the lines for my to do list and it all went a bit wobbly and not straight at all. Some people that would really bother I am sure but I am a bit wobbly so it suits me just fine lol!

See you next week!

December Daily Pocket Scrapbooking Page

Hi ya'll!

I'm Amber from Best Stamped Intentions and I'm SUPER excited to spend a year on this team!  Wonderful ladies to work with and amazing product that I get to get my grubby hands on.  It really doesn't get much better than this!!

Even though it's January, I know that some (most? ;)) of you are still finishing up your 2014 edition of December Daily.

No judgement here!!  I barely just finished 2013 mid December THIS YEAR!!  Better late than never, right?? :)

Today, I'm going to share days 1 - 8 from my DD out of my family album.

I chose to do mine differently this year.  Instead of creating a full mini album as I did last year, I am inserting it right into my pocket album.

I chose Doodlebug's "Santa Express" as the base for this project.  I'm in LOVE with the bright colors and Timeless Twine accents and matches perfectly with it!!!

Throughout the course of this year, I'm going to show you how easy and {CUTE} it is to use Twine in your pocket spreads.  It adds so much to your LO's.

Here's my full spread:
You can click on each image to open it up bigger to see all of the detail!

And, a quick collage of all of the cards that include twine, sequins or stamps from Timeless Twine/Bella Creationz.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my project as much as I enjoyed making it.  You can hop over to my blog to see each card in more detail.

xoxo, Amber

I {heart} You

Happy Monday, fellow twine lovers.  Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky FingersMy sweetie is back at work for the week.  He packs his lunch every morning.  Now and then, I like to put a little surprise in for him, just so he knows I'm thinking of him.  Bella Creationz and Timeless Twine have lots of bags and containers to make this very easy to do.

This small glassine bag (3x5 1/2) was the perfect size for a package of cookies and a small bag of candy. Then, all I needed to do was decorate it up a bit. The Plan Nerd 2 stamp set was just what I needed. A bit of imagination, a bit of stamping, and I had a love letter for my hubby.

I wrapped the bag with Autumn Splendor (on SALE for $4.50!) Timeless Twine.  The burlap flower is from Pinque Peacock. I didn't want anything too "girly".  After all, it's in my husband's lunch today!

Planning and stamping

Debbie here from Craftin' Chaos doing maybe what seems like not much but its the start of my planner I just got. I haven't wanted to write in it I am a bit of a hoarder and somewhat of a "preserver" I guess you would say. I love things in their new pristine condition but what is the point of a planner that I don't use. So I am wanting to start to decorate it a bit and although this doesn't look like much I have to get in my planner groove. I am very new to "decorating" a planner. I have always loved planners, I have always had several plus notebooks to jot my thoughts or ideas in.

I keep several by my side all the time. While watching tv I may get an idea on a project or brainstorm and doodle/sketch what I am going to do. I also get ideas for what to make for new paperclips.

So my dear friend who I adore more than I can put into words ordered me a Erin Condren for my birthday!!! So this beauty is getting a start. I am breaking her in slowly but I know once I get the initial start it will get easier. There is so much to get yet. Loads of washi is what I plan to get now. I would like to get the skinnies.

But you can see with Bella Creationz new "PlanNERD" and "PlanNERD 2" sets she has thought of alot of the things us planners like to use and create a great stamp set. I love the little squiggly that I stamped on one of the bookmarks. The other bookmark has lines so I stamped the "Currently" on it so I could make a list of things that are going on right now I need to work on.

The other stamp I am in love with is on set 2 and it is the stamp that you can write your project down on, date it is due and then checkoffs for all the social media sites so that you can keep track of where you shared it or what ones you still need to share on. I love that to death!!!

And then these cute little flags. I need to get some better inks to stamp colors with. I have alot of distress inks and I didn't care for the way they came out so I used a few of the CTMH pads I had.

I used the Autumn splendor twine to make some cute fringes for my bookmarks and then also added some to a paperclip to create a little decorative clip.

Autumn splendor is on sale this month so you should grab it. It is super cheap for a whole spool its only $4.50!

Grab the Plannerd stamp sets too while your at it. More stamp sets are in the shop and more coming so stay tuned for new releases!!!

(This is just a start to a decorated page...its not much but I just wanted to show you how the stamps can work for this. )

The lines on the PlanNERD set fit perfectly in the Erin Condren squares.

Love you can make your own flags with this set, a numbered list and mark important things going on
