This morning they wanted to play in it before school, and I realized that I had packed their gloves and hats and boots and such and put that box in the storage unit. (We're trying to get ready to move.) Luckily, I had some kids Uggs hidden that I was planning on giving them for Christmas and a couple of coats that had escaped that box. While they were at school I grabbed some new hats and gloves, and literally the second they got out of the car the fun began.

Yet Again...
...Snow in October. I feel like every year this snow storm happens in October and it surprises me, and makes me a little mad because I'm just not ready to accept the beginning of winter yet. But, I really need to stop being surprised because it happens every year, and how can it make me mad when my kids are so unbelievably excited about it, and they have so much fun playing in it.

Someone Else Turned 32!
Yep, after a month Brian joined me in the 32 club. It was a pretty low key birthday since he's getting a massive detached garage for his birthday. Good thing it came with the house he bought for me :) But, we did have homemade lasagna (it was a new recipe that we all devoured), and carrot cake (his favorite) from dippidee. I had also taken the kids to the dollar store, and they got to pick out whatever they wanted to give Daddy for his birthday. They thought that was pretty cool. Natalie picked a purple frisbee and a pink airplane shooter thing. Parker picked a blue car that has a balloon attached to it, and as the air shoots out of the balloon the car goes, and he picked out a warship for Dylan to give him. It sounds like they were only thinking of themselves when they picked those gifts, and I think that was partly true. But, they also know that their Dad loves to play with fun toys that do cool things with them. I really think he gets just as excited about those kinds of toys as they do...one of the many reasons they love him.
I thought about doing something like listing 32 things I love about this man, which I could do very easily. But, I really just want him to know how much my heart melts to pieces when I see him bring out the very best in our kids and in me. And, I really think I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have him and the life we've been able to create together. Happy Birthday honey!

Halloween Fun with Cousins
Last week we went to This is the Place for their Halloween Haunts. The kids loved going trick or treating and riding the train. We loved having Chace and Jill with us too.
And this week we went to Cornbelly's with Jack and Audrey twice!! We all had a blast.
Natalie's favorite thing to do there is put on one of the princess dress ups they have and dance on the stage. Love that girl.
Parker brought his friend, Caleb, with him one day too.
Just before we left, Parker and Natalie got their faces painted. They looked adorable, and they were so excited when I told them they could keep it on and wear it to school the next day.

I turned 32
I found this video that I took on my birthday last month. I kind of love it. a great birthday by the way. Lots of birthday wishes from lots of friends and family. Brian was able to come home for a bit in the middle of the day and had lunch and brownies with us, I got a massage later that afternoon, and Brian and I went out to a yummy dinner that night. This year for my birthday, Brian bought me a new house. Yup, you read that right...we're moving. We're so excited about our new house that is less than 5 minutes away from where we live now. The house is perfect awesome, and just what we want and need, and it's close enough that we don't have to say goodbye to all of our friends.

Dylan's First Solids
This little guy got his first taste of solid food yesterday. He did great, and seemed to like it at times, but was not too sure. Today, he was definitely not a big fan. He'll figure it out. I just can't believe how fast the time is going. Why do they have to grow up so fast?!
When all was said and done, he was much happier with his bottle.
Dylan's Rolling Over
This was a couple of weeks ago when he was just starting to roll over. Now he's all over the place, and the silly little guy keeps getting himself stuck under chairs or up against walls. It's fun to watch him grow up, but I'm already missing the days of putting him down and knowing that's where he'll be when I check on him a couple of minutes later.

The Kids During General Conference
As always it was a wonderful General Conference for our church. The kids were really good during the first session, and colored, and played, and listened some too. During the second session, they all slept...yay for that.
I loved that every time the choir sang Natalie had to get up and dance. Parker joined her for the first song.

Favorite Age, and sshh...My Favorite Baby
Ever since Parker was 6 months old, I have always said that I LOVE LOVE LOVE this age. Babies are just so interactive and happy at this age, they still like to cuddle (well, at least a little), but they're not mobile and into everything yet.
Growing up, my parents never played favorites. They had all 3 of us believing that we were each the favorite all the time. I still believe that I am, but we'll leave it at that. I want my own kids to feel the same way. I love them all more than I could ever describe for who they are and the things they love and need. I've loved each of my babies to the moon, but I am enjoying Dylan so much. I've done this baby thing twice before, so I feel confident about what I'm doing with him, and his older siblings are old enough that I can appreciate all of his adorable babyness.
He really is always happy, and he'll smile anyone and everyone anytime all the time. Just this afternoon I was about to put him down for a nap, and I took a few minutes to snuggle him in his sleepiness. He could barely keep his eyes open as his head was nestled into my shoulder, and every time I kissed him on his cheek he just let out this adorable little giggle. Oh how my heart melts with this one.
