Wedding Day at Daisy Doodles...
Hi Susan here with a design made for the new Daisy Doodles challenge this week.
The theme is Here Comes the Bride and runs until Friday 1st August. You can find full details on the Daisy Doodle Challenge Blog.
My backing papers for this card are from Crafters Companion CD rom - Love, very beautiful papers on this CD. I chose three of them that I had in my stash already printed, for the sketch I wanted to use from Sketch Saturday. I distressed all the edges and glittered them with stickles.
This image is from Daisy Doodles Store, and is called Simple Elegance. It is a set with several stamps in the theme of weddings.
I coloured it in with Pro-Markers and inked the background before distressing the edge of the cirle and glittering with stickles, I then mat and layered it onto a scalloped circle of mirri board.
I surrounded the topper with a deep coloured netting, to match the colours of my backing papers.
My flowers are from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts, with a few little glass ones, stolen from Emma's cake decorating stash. I glittered all the edges with stickles.
My sentiment was a wedding selection set of stamps from Papermania. The charm is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts.

Anyone for a swim!!
Hi it's Susan here, well I couldn't resist this frog, just had to make a card to show her off.
I have used a great sketch from Cute Card Thursday, love sketches!!!!!
My backing papers are a mixture, the flowery one is from a Papermania pack that we bought ages ago. The beautiful green and pink muted papers are from Daisy Doodles. These two particular papers are from the Summer Collection, what a beautiful selection of colours in the collection, you will love them, go over and see for yourself!!
All the edges of the papers were distressed, just because I like doing it and like the effect it has on the finished card!!
The ribbon and lace is from our local market.
Isn't she just the most adorable goddess of a frog!!!!
Her name is Beach Baby Jayme, and she is a free download, she was designed by Crissy Armstrong. I coloured her in with Pro-Markers, and slightly coloured in the edges of the background with inks. I distressed the edges to match the rest of the card.
The flowers were from Wild Orchid Crafts, I slightly coloured the edges with inks before gluing them in place. The small blossom flowers I made myself.

Summertime and the living is easy....
Hi, it's Susan here.
I have worked this card from a great sketch from 'Delightful Sketches' it is such a nice one and lends itself perfectly to a garden theme. There is always such a lot of challenges to follow at this time of the year with a summer theme, and when the sun is shining it is nice to be able to design with the gorgeous colours that are ideal for garden themed cards.
The backing papers are from a CD rom by Crafter Companion called Cute Companions - Summer Stories, beautiful backing papers on this CD rom. All the edges were distressed.
Can you spot the little wooden 'ladybirds', these little insects are my favourite summer bugs! They brings lots of memories of when Emma and my other daughter Jeni used to go on ladybird hunts in the garden in the summer!
The digi image is from Daisy Doodles store, it is such a cute little image and is perfect for a beautiful summery card. The image is called 'Wheelbarrow'.
The images are really good and print off perfect, any size you wish to make them. They are well worth a visit.
I coloured it in with Pro-Markers, and then distressed the edges to match the main papers.
The large yellow flower is my own handmade flower, made from a flower punch and coloured with inks, shaped and finished with stamens, the other flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts, which I coloured with inks.
The tag I made myself on the computer, I ink aged the background before distressing the edges.
I used raffia from Papermania this time instead of ribbon, simply because I thought raffia blended in more with a garden theme.

It's your day ... Enjoy yourself
Hi, its Susan, I am entering this one in several challenges, I will list them at the end.
Oh boy, I love working from sketches, the backing papers I used for this little boy's card was from a mixture of books, DCWV, Paper Mania and Kay and Co.
The buttons were from my stock of old buttons collected over a long time!
This is an absolutely gorgous digi image, from HERE, we found this site and very generously allows you to download the images to print and colour.
I coloured it in using Pro-Markers and hopefully you will all think I have done the image proud.
The label I made using my computer.
