I Heart New York

Morning.. I'm on a roll with a card today using these fabulous city silhouettes from CBS... I have a couple of friends that recently went to New York so this is inspired by them!!

Inspiration

Here is what I used...

The patterned paper is also from Stampin Up DSP pack but is retired.

Have a fab Monday.. just wish it would stop raining!

Vintage Wreaths.... Clearly Besotted Teaser

Morning... It's another day of Clearly Besotted Teasers today and I'm using the sweet set "Joy To The World".  I made a couple of the simplest cards ever using this set... great for a batch of quick and easy Christmas cards...

I wasn't sure about the gold so I made another one using some twine...

Inked with Shadow inks, I also used the stitched rectangle from Lil Inkers, some twine and a little liquid pearls for the berries.

Today I'm off to a craft show (can't tell you which yet as there are a couple on today...) Want it to be a surprise for someone!!! Hopefully I'll have some pics tomorrow!!

Hope you have a great Saturday

Santa is coming to town

Morning.. So it's another Christmas card for you today and I used some new products.. The Stampin Up blendabilities.  I must say I was very dubious about these ... But after trying Lizy's I had to buy them.. They match my SU card stock perfectly and there is no thinking about which colours to blend with each they have done all the work for you! Even more delighted by the fact the red is a proper christmas red and it doesn't bleed all over like my promarkers and copic reds seem to!

Enough waffling, onto the card ....

I'll be home tonight from Vienna and a crazy weekend ahead decorating and visiting friends!

Have a great Friday

I'm With Genius...

Morning.. Wow 2 days in a row... It's been a while since I've done that!

I have a card perfect for back to school this week using one of my all time favourite Tiddly Inks images.... I'm trying really hard to use stash that hasn't seen daylight for a while or has never seen daylight (digi images, DSPs etc etc) so you will see some stuff coming out of the wood work in the next few weeks for sure... I'm also selling off a bit of stash in the next couple of weeks so look out for that too!
Anyhow, enough waffling... This is Genius!

Also, by complete fluke it kinda fits in with this weeks Tiddly Inks Challenge too... #140 Pop of Colour!!

Card Recipe:
Image: Genius from Tiddly Inks
DSP: My Minds Eye
Colouring Medium: ProMarkers/Copics on Neenah Desert Storm card ( I love this!1)
Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangles

Hope you have a great Thursday!! Fingers crossed I'll have some pictures of my new studio for you over the weekend if I manage to tidy up tonight... I really need to learn to be a tidy crafter!

Love Hearts

Morning.. Just to let you know there is an offer on over at LOTV...

At the end of last week I received my Lil Inkers order from Tara at Make The Day Special.. to say I was excited when I found out she was stocking them is an understatement.  Here is my creation using the stitched hearts!

I used the double challenge #76 over at CAS Colours & Sketches for my inspiration.

Card Recipe:
Lil Inkers Stitched Heart
DSP from Stampin Up
Love Die from Simon Says Stamp

Yesterday, I spent all day sorting out the bat cave to turn it into a proper office instead of it being the dumping ground it had become since January this year... today the rest of the house needs sorting too.... I can't currently move for boxes in the studio.. and every where else for that matter...

Hope you all have a great Monday
