Drop #1928

Dropped: Children’s playground, just North of Semaphore Palais Military Road, Semaphore, South Australia
Number of toys: 1
Made by: Gorker
Dropped by:  Kerrie
When: Sunday 8th December 2013
Comments: Toy was dropped in the playground.  A number of children picked it up and put it back.  Then we say someone collect it and take it home.  We were picnicking in the area.  My grandchildren were so excited to see the toy go.  One of them actually found it, so I had to tell them about the Secret Toy Society so they would understand why they couldn’t keep it.  They were so excited about being a part of my secret drop.

Found: Drop #1895

From: Amanda
Date: 29 September 2013

Hello my boys with the drop.

My eldest found it and was very concerned about the chid who must have lost it – when I explained it was a present from someone the joy in his face was great – he immediately told his brother they were taking it home.

They both love it are happy to share, this is a fantastic wonderful idea it brightened up my day too and continues to do so when I think of people out there making toys for children they don't know, not for profit it's great. THANKS Amanda, Marcello and Artzai.

Drop #1856

Dropped: In the playground at Karoonda, South Australia, Australia

Number of toys: 1

Made by: Domenica Tootell

Dropped by: The Tootell family

When: 15th July, 2013

Comments: I love making these sock monkeys and thought it would be great to give one to a complete stranger. I felt bad putting it into the bag, but hopefully it will be found quickly!

I loved putting the sock monkey out for someone with no expectation of thanks. I did chose to leave it in a playground to increase the chances of a child finding it, though.

I hope whoever finds this little cutie can get some happiness from it!
