I love going through my crafting supplies and making something unexpected.  So when I unearthed a pink ghost, I thought, challenge accepted.  So what if it's Valentine's weekend and not Halloween?  I'm sure that many lovelorn souls would say that Cupid's cuddle fest haunts them more than the ghouls' gala.  Speaking of ghouls, there's no better time to post this Fancy Phantom Necklace (that's what I'm calling my cohort) than Galentine's Day, which falls on Friday the 13th this year.  If that's not a sign of the supernatural, then I don't know what is.

Because we ladies can believe in the occult and make our own luck --and spirited style statements.

As promised, I'm back with more pairs of forgiving LC Lauren Conrad shoes.  Because a promise is a promise and comfort is queen.  At least until I tumble from my throne and skulk back to my stilettos.

Anyhoo, I'm also sporting LC threads.  Which I teamed with the Sugar Thrillz princess purse I debated buying.  Around Y2K, when princess merch became popular, I was put off by it.  But more than twenty years later, I think it's fun, especially with a preppy fit.

That said, The Golden Girls have crashed the royal court that's somehow become this post.  Because they're the best in TV and everything.

Even if they never hawked shoes.

Which is what I said when I found these '90s/Y2K mesh tops at -- where else? -- Kohl's.  The celestial print one even has that iconic lettuce edge trim on the sleeves and hem.  Wearing them was like going back in time minus all the angst of my teens.  Which was nice now that I'm an SUV-driving mom in my forties.

I guess there's nothing like an '80s tune and a '90s moon to put it all in perspective. 🌙🎵⭐🎶🌞

They say that leopards never change their spots.  I don't know about that, but I tried to change the way I wore leopard in these '90s-meets-Y2K-esque outfits.  Which means shirts and skirts and, in one case, booties.

Then again, they also say that leopard's making a comeback.  Which makes me wonder, when did it go?  Everyone knows that leopard's a neutral.  Cue "Florals?  For spring? Groundbreaking."

Per the priestess, that's all.
