Christmas is a lot like the prom.  It starts out all perfect and sparkly, then devolves into anarchy.  Here's an up close and personal look at mine.  It was big and crazy, and by the end I felt like Charlotte looks in this last pic.  But we all had fun.  Contrary to the crying, especially Char Bar.

As promised, I'm back with more pairs of forgiving LC Lauren Conrad shoes.  Because a promise is a promise and comfort is queen.  At least until I tumble from my throne and skulk back to my stilettos.  

Anyhoo, I'm also sporting LC threads.  Which I teamed with the Sugar Thrillz princess purse I debated buying.  Around Y2K, when princess merch became popular, I was put off by it.  But more than twenty years later, I think it's fun, especially with a preppy fit.       

That said, The Golden Girls have crashed the royal court that's somehow become this post.  Because they're the best in TV and everything. 

Even if they never hawked shoes.

That's what I sing to Charlotte (sans "eclectic") whenever she has something hanging out of her nose.  Which is ironic considering that "The Electric Slide" was the only song on my wedding do-not-play list.  Then again, these days I'm doing a lot of stuff I said I never would, something I'm acutely aware of as this little rag morphs into a mommy blog in fashion-sheep-sta's clothing.

So enjoy these eclectic electric fits and the illusion of sanity that they so blithely perpetuate.  Because no one -- least of all me -- wants to see a lipstick-less lady in spit up-stained PJs.
