The kids were really excited to show Roy and I around their school! It was really great seeing their classrooms and getting to see all the things they have been working on this year! It's so nice meeting my kids teachers and having them tell me how much they enjoy my children in their class (although, do they ever tell you if they don't? hmmm...) All in all, it was a very fun night!

My darling sister who I love and adore was my saving grace on Monday when I had to attend a meeting for Max at his school.

I dropped Van off fully clothed and clean.

I returned to find Van in a diaper and some sand in his ears.

Now I know why....

Just an example of how Photoshop RULES! I still have SO SO SO much to learn, and am so frustrated because I still can't do what I want to do with it, but am sloooooowly learning:) So, if you come to my house in the near future and it looks as if a bomb went off, and the smell of poopie diaper is almost unbearable, just know it's all for the love of photoshop!

While Mia was at dance today, I took Vanner around downtown Carlsbad and snapped these shots. I have SO much to learn, but am so excited to get started!

New Camera

My wonderful hubby surprised me with a new fancy camera for Valentine's Day. I have been wanting one for years and years and finally got me one! I am still learning the basics (I actually went and bought the book for Dummies on how to use the thing!). Hopefully with the help of youtube and books and any help any of my talented friends are willing to give me, I will become one darn great pho-tag:)

Valentines Extravaganza!

When asked, "What can we do to show our husbands how much we love them?", the answer was clear... Send them on a scavenger hunt where they have to decorate a cupcake, make a valentines card and arrange a floral bouquet FOR US! (All while wearing really cool t-shirts that say 'I Love my Wife' of course!)

The men arrive at the Anderson's where Velyn explains their first challenge.
They really took the challenge seriously...

Next they went to the Dustin's house where they had to make us a Valentine's card
