The 12 Kits of Occasions March 2014

This month's kit was put together by Kelly, Gingham Girl!  The Easter and spring colors, images, and sentiments were so fun to work with. Kelly must have been die cutting for a year for our kits, though, because wow, there were a LOT of die cuts in there, and some of them were itsy bitsy! Thanks for the great kit, Kelly, it was a lot of fun to work with :)

Paper Dolls: Spring Bling

I am really excited to be a member of a very talented group of ladies called The Paper Dolls. They've been around for over a year now (maybe two?) and have their own challenge blog! This is my first time participating as a member of the Dolls. I played along with the first challenge of the year put on by Suzanne and Renee, Spring Bling. You can check it out, here. Now on to my card:

I just got my PTI package in the mail yesterday, and in there was the Little Bitty Bird Additions set (I actually don't own the original, but you don't need it because this one comes with its own birds!) The fence, music notes, birds, and sentiments are from the set. I also used the Mat Stack #5 die in kraft.

The Double Ended Banner Die was in my package, too. At the shoebox swap I went to last Saturday, Sarah used it in this way by scoring it, and I thought it was such a great idea!

The grid stamp is from Market Street Stamps, the ribbon is from Amuse, and the cardstock is from PTI. And how could I forget an important part of the challenge? Bling!! I used a whole row of rhinestones to the left of the ribbon to fulfill this aspect ;)

This challenge was easy and fun, and there's still time to play along, so go check it out and link up your card!

And don't forget to check back tonight (or tomorrow) because its time for another round of the 12 Kits of Christmas :)

Card Patterns #154

Here's a spring card I made with the new PTI set to go along with the Christmas label:

And here's the sketch I used:

All supplies are PTI including ribbon, patterned paper, stamps, cardstock, border die. The gorgeous crocheted flower was made by my friend Christina! Sorry for such a short post, everyone, but I was up all night sick and now I'm rushing off to work because I couldn't get anyone to cover for me, but I wanted to make sure this card meets the noon deadline today. Thanks for stopping by!

CPS 5th Anniversary Day 15 Sketch #231

I made it through all 15 sketches of the CPS 5th Anniversary Challenge! Whoo hoo!! Here's Day 15's card and just in time as the link closes tonight ;)

Here's the sketch that I used:

Isn't this lion with the lamb so sweet? It's from my new Paper Smooches set :) And so is the sentiment.

The kraft ribbon is from PTI and so is the Aqua Mist cardstock. The DSP is all from an old SU pack. The oval and scalloped oval punches are also from SU.

I got together with my friend Suzanne for crafting today, so I decided to make more of the cards since they turned out so cute, so here's the lot of them :)

Fingers crossed that I win the grand prize!! ;)
