Scraps of Elegance April Inspiration Mood Board Challenge

Hi friends and welcome to the Scraps of Elegance (SOE) and Scraps of Darkness (SOD) April Inspiration Mood Board challenge.

The April  Inspiration Mood Board is designed by me..

Entries need to be posted in the challenge album on Facebook, but I thought I'd share the rules, so you can see how easy it is!

1. The challenge starts today and ends April 30th at midnight.

2. Create a layout, canvas, art journal page, or altered item, taking inspiration from this month's Inspiration Board: You can choose inspiration from just one of the images, or several of them. This inspiration can be the quote, the colors, the overall feel of the board, something in one of the pictures on the board - your imagination is the only restriction you have on this!

3. Upload your project into this album, and tell us in the description what you used from the board as your inspiration.

4. For a double entry - post your project on your blog along with the photo of the board and a link to this challenge, and then put a link to your blog post in the description of your photo when you upload here.

5. That's it!

Scrap Africa Sketch Challenge no.48

Hi girls,

I am here to share yet another fabulous sketch by Denise at Scrap Africa...

Hope you had lot of fun creating for the last mood board challenge...wasn't that lovely?

So, we have another fun sketch for you to create this time and let's take a look at it...though a little unwell I had lot of fun creating for this sketch too!!

And here's the card I made based on this fab sketch..

I used Prima's 'Fairy Rhymes collection' as my background paper...lots of stamps and flowers used from Prima..and the gorgeous chipboard frame is from 2-Crafty. 

We really hope that the creative juices are now flowing and that you will play along with the challenge.

Scrap Africa Mood Board challenge No. 47

Hello friends,

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend...

Just dropping in to share a card I made for Scrap Africa Mood Board Challenge No. 47.

Isn't the mood board amazing?? I have just head over heels when i got to work on this fabulous moodboard...

Load of paint gone in there..I first started with a layer of mask and modeling paste...

Then went in water color in green..Since I am a lover of stamps....I used Tim Holtz stamps and specially designed by the very talented Georgia Heald's stamp on the boarders..

The chipboard is 2-Crafty and the white flower is 13-arts...

ScrapAfrica Sketch Challenge No. 46

Hello everyone,

Firstly some news to share..the lovely Denise from ScrapAfrica had invited me to join their fabulous Design Team and I felt so lucky to be working with such talented bunch of ladies!!

For me 2015 had a very tough beginning with illness in the family...I hope these clouds fade quickly...so have been miles away from the blog world..

Well back to ScrapAfrica Challenge....my debut layout is for Sketch challenge No. 46.. here's lovely sketch by denise..

You can interpret it as you like by rotating it..

and you can make a layout, card or an altered project~

And here's my take on this sketch...

I used my favorite 7-dots studio paper with lots of mediums and flowers..also used my favorite art-ingredients-finnabair-glass beads and some vintage trinkets...

Sorry I couldn't take good pictures of this layout due to very bad light...

Prima 12 days of Christmas cards Day 3

Hello everyone,

Hope you guys had an awesome weekend...

I am back again to share another card I made for PRIMA 12 days of Christmas card challenge...

Wow I am so into making all these cards for this challenge that the fever is not over yet....isn't magical???

This time again I decided to go with Finnabair vintage trinkets (Oh I am so in love with them) and incorporated with SIIC(say it in crystals)..

Prima- 12 Days of christmas cards challenge Day 1

Hey everyone,

Back with another card to share for Prima- 12 days of christmas card challenge...

Oh there are so many fabulous entries out there...just check them out girls...

I made a card for Day 1- Glass glitter...I love these new Art Ingredients Glass glitter....it adds so much to your projects...

 

 You can find all the rules of the challenge here...

 I added Glass glitter in Sterling onto the edges of the card and also a little on the vintage metal trinket...
