Cookie Jar Classic

Have to thank Christine Dol for this AWESOME recipe!! Check out her post and CUUUUUTE recipe card HERE.

My recipe card is a 5" x 7" that fits into a ring binder and plastic sheets (so the card is COVERED and can't get messy). I used my Stampendous Cookie Memories stamp again, colored it with Copics, and added some platinum Stickles to the polka dots on her apron. The chocolate chips up in the corner and the "I love chocolate" sentiment are from my Sweet Chocolate set by My Cute Stamps. I got both sets from Stamper's Dream. I went with orange and yellow colors to go with the Reese's peanut butter chips....oh yum!

If you want to see what my recipe binder looks like that holds the 5"x7" cards, click HERE. I love my ring binder and the clear protectors! Michelle also carries Cardkeepers products, which work GREAT for recipe books. I made one for my mom that you can see HERE on this old post.

Cookie Memories

On Wednesday, Hailey and I both had off from work so we decided to bake some chocolate chip cookies. I got this recipe from Christine Dol....and she's right, they ARE yummy....just don't forget to add the baking soda to the first batch like Hailey and I did, lol! The first batch we made, we used the 3 cups of chocolate chips. In the second batch, I used 1.5 cups of chocolate chips and 1.5 cups of Reeses peanut butter chips....mmmmmmm! Yummy either way!

The cut-out Stampendous image is up on foam tape, I added stardust Stickles to the polka dots on her apron, the ribbon is by May Arts, and the DP is Cosmo Cricket's Pixie-licious. Now I need to make a recipe card for these cookies so I can add it to my recipe book.....so stay tuned for that later.

Enjoy your day. I'm working/playing at the stamp show in York again today. {smile}

Melinda and Willow

I have two cards to show you today, using Whiff of Joy stamps from Stamper's Dream.

The first one is Confirmation Melinda...LOVE how this one is illustrated. Her face is SO sweet. Two images are layered together with the second one up on foam tape. The wings are all sparkled up with Diamond Stickles. The Twilight Light base was cut with my curved mega rectangles. The yellow DP is also up on foam tape. I colored her hair blonde for the Copic Creations Challenge.

Here's a close-up:

Here's the inside of the card. I added the Stampendous Angel sentiment to the top flap and then a blank white sheet on the bottom for writing.

Stamper's Dream Monthly Challenge

Hi everyone! It's time for another monthly Stamper's Dream challenge! This month Tosh is challenging us all to make gray cards with a touch of bling and a splash of color...and to use a stamp from Stamper's Dream of course. {smile}

You're all welcome to play along! Just post a link to your project on Michelle's blog. If you upload to SCS, use SDDC3 in the keywords. Be sure to check out Michelle's blog too....she'll have a GIVEAWAY for one lucky participant!

My card is pretty straightforward....two shades of gray CS, Swarovski crystals and sparkly threads in the ribbon for the bling, touches of color with the green Swarovski crystals and in the embossed music note with Aegean Silver EP . The JudiKins Music Background and Stampendous Christmas Note stamps are both from Stamper's Dream, as is the white Neenah CS.

The layout is one of Jen del Muro's SFYTT sketches! Each of the Nestabilities circles and scallop rectangle are up on separate layers of Dimensionals. I stamped two more music notes on the inside of the card, down in the bottom left and bottom right corners by coloring right onto the stamp with a Black SU marker and then stamping on the CS. Those music notes also have the Aegean Silver embossing just like the one on the front.

Be sure to check out the gorgeous cards from the rest of the Stamper's Dream DT: Charmaine, Cindy, Carolyn, Kim, Laurie, Michelle, and Tosh.

RECIPE ~
Stamps: JudiKins Music Background, Stampendous Christmas Note
Paper: Textured Going Gray, Textured Basic Gray, Neenah 80lb White, Basic Black
Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, Versamark (marker)
Accessories: Green Swarovski Crystals, PTI Ribbon, Silver Cord, Circle and Scallop Circle Nestabilities, Scallop Rectangle Nestabilities, Dimensionals, JudiKins Aegean Silver EP
Technique: Heat Embossing, Direct-to-Rubber

Moose and Snowmen

Hi all!
I'm
kidless
today
so I'm
on a
stampin'
ROLL! I
have two
cards to
show you.

On the
first one
I used
my new
Stampendous
Merry
ChrisMoose

stamp. It's
stamped
on Neenah White 80 lb CS with Versafine Black Onyx ink, watercolored with reinkers, and then I added some Candy Cane Stickles to the ornaments and Diamond Stickles to the snow. I embossed the top portion of the card with my Snowflakes Embossing Folder through the Cuttlebug and then layered on some ribbon, hemp twine, and the button. The card base is Razzleberry Dark by Prism Papers. Everything linked in red plus the burgundy May Arts velvet ribbon is available at Stamper's Dream.

I added some embossed snowflakes to the inside of the card as well. You can click on the picture to see a bigger view.

RECIPE ~
Stamps: Stampendous Merry Chrismoose
Paper: Razzleberry Dark Prism paper, Neenah 80 lb White CS, SU Kraft
Ink: Versafine Black Onyx, Creamy Caramel, Basic Brown, Riding Hood Red, Soft Sky
Accessories: Hemp Twine, Red Button, Brown Plaid Ribbon (from Joann Fabrics), Burgundy Velvet Ribbon, Snowflakes Embossing Folder, Candy Cane Stickles, Diamond Stickles, Glue Dot (for the button)
Technique: Watercoloring, Dry Embossing

The
next
one is
for
SCS
Sketch
SC205
.
I used
my new
MFT
Scarf
for
Three

(if you
want it,
hurry to
Stamper's Dream because there's only one left!), stamped it on Neenah 80lb White CS in Versafine Black Onyx, and watercolored it with reinkers and a damp watercolor brush. I was inspired by Christine Okken's post where she used baja breeze and soft sky together...gorgeous combo! Thanks, Christine! I don't know if you can see in the picture, but in the corners of the watercolored frame, I added some square blue Hero Arts gems (they fit perfectly in this stamped image!). I also used Diamond Stickles on the middle snowman's hat and in the centers of the white embossed snowflake panels. The main image is up on Dimensionals over the scallop Baja Breeze Rectangle.

The inside of the card has some more dry embossed snowflakes along the bottom edge with Diamond Stickles as accents, and I stamped the "Warm Wishes" sentiment that comes with the Scarf for Three stamp. Again, everything linked in blue is available at Stamper's Dream.

RECIPE ~
Stamps: MFT Scarf For Three
Paper: Baja Breeze, Blue Bayou, Neenah 80 lb White
Ink: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Baja Breeze, Tangerine Tango, Versafine Black Onyx
Accessories: Blue Bayou Double Stitched Ribbon, Hero Arts Summer Gems, Dimensionals, Rectangle and Scallop Rectangle Nestabilities, Diamond Stickles
Technique: Watercoloring, Dry Embossing

Thanks for stopping by my blog and I hope you have an awesome weekend!
