Naild'it New Holo Polishes!!!

Press Sample

Naild'it has created an amazing line of scattered Holographic polishes, and I have swatches of a few of them here for you guys today!

Many of the Indie Polish makers are diving into the Holographic craze, and Andrea of Naild'it has done an amazing job in this first, of I hope many, Holographic collections.

These swatches are 3 coats in natural sunlight.

(*Please note: there are few other Holo polishes also available, outside of the colors shown above - Starry Eyed Surprise, StarBurt, Glowber - you can see the remaining polishes HERE
)

Salmon Run: The name of this polish is right on the money. The color is exactly that of raw salmon. The formula on this polish was flawless, and the best of the entire collection.

Need I say more? The pictures speak for themselves on these polishes.

Holo!! My Name is...: This one is gorgeous and the name of it totally makes me giggle every time I see it. I have a feeling this one will be a favorite in this collection for a bunch of reasons.

It has beautiful Aqua color shift in it. This polish behaves like a duochrome as well as a holo at times, depending on the lighting.

Eeky Ink: This is the darker purple of the collection. A super deep pretty pink based purple holo.

Okay this one takes the cake as the best name for a nail polish EVER!! Bull-shift: Ha ha ha ....LOVE IT!!!

I'm not a fan of browns, but this one is FABULOUS!!! I love the bronze color shift in this one. To me this is another standout in this set of holos.

Abyss Kiss: This is the lighter purple polish of the set.

Naild'it polishes can be purchase at Llorowe.com and
the Naild'it Etsy Shop. You can follow Naild'it on Facebook HERE to get details of release times and dates!

I hope you guys like these as much as I do. What are your thoughts on these. I'm just loving them.

Happy Earth Day!!

Purchased by Me

I had a billion ideas for my Earth Day manicure as far as nail art. I knew for sure my base would be Cirque's Lonesome George. The only problem is, once Lonesome George was on, it seemed crazy to cover it up or change it in any way. I decided to just leave it alone, and I'm glad I did!

(Picture sources: @wonderclips.com and@Earthtimes.org)

If you love green polishes, like myself, this polish is a MUST HAVE.

These pictures are 2 coats, indoor with artificial lighting with no top coat. I did want to take outside pictures, but as soon as I attempted to, the sun crawled into the clouds and decided to leave us for the day. Isn't that how it usually works with Holographic polishes when we want to photograph them?

Cirque describes this as: A jeweled-tone green polish with a rainbow holographic finish. I think that is a perfect description of this polish.

This is my first true holographic polish outside of the Milani 3D Holographices (which were touted as 'faint').  I now understand why there is such love for Holographic polishes, becasue like this one, they are stunning!

For the rest of my day I will be going outside to plant some grass seeds on a few bald spots I have in my yard, and to reseed my regular grass. What a perfect day to plant something!!!

Happy Earth Day!

My New Ott Light and Untried No. 9 : Milani Hi-Tech 3D

Usually I only post one untried a weekend, but today I ended up doing another untried. So I figured I would come share it with you guys.

First I wanted to show you guys my new Ott light :) This is the light I use to take my pictures.

I purchased this at Jo-Ann Fabrics. They were having a 40% off OTT lights for Presidents Day, plus I used a 10% off coupon as well. This ended up costing me $USD 24.00!  What a deal. This was originally close to 50$'s regular price. It is still currently on sale, so you can still pick it up for the sale price.

I set it up and used it for my next Untried. Milani High-Tech 3D.

I really like how the light shows off the Holo in this polish. You get wonderful detail with it.

It is a gorgeous polish, and is now added to my Top 10 list. It was so easy to apply and it dried really fast. This is the perfect go to polish when you want a quick and easy mani.

I couldn't help but take a lot of pictures of this.

Then I decided to take it outside for the sun light. unfortunately the day was ending.

I think with the sun setting they came out really cool.

Hope you guys like it! Thanks for visiting.

Milani Digital

First I want to say hello and WELCOME to all my new followers, thank you for visiting and for all the kind comments that I have been receiving :)

Today I decided to take advantage of the sunlight that I finally got.  I wanted something soft and delicate but with a punch, and Milani Digital has delivered. This is two coats and I did not put a Top Coat on.  I heard Top Coats dull Holos, so I wanted to try without one first.

With this you have to search for the holo a little, but it's there if you look close enough.

I'm trying to improve my photo skills and hopefully you guys like these shots as much as my usual style.

Let me know if you guys like the new photo style lol.  Leave your thoughts in the comments!

Thanks for visiting.
