MFT January 2015 New Release Countdown!

Hi there everyone! It's time for the first Release Countdown of the year from My Favorite Things! Can you believe it's 2015? We have the MOST ADORABLE new stamps and Die-namics to introduce over the next five days, as well as some beautiful new card stock and ink colors so you won't want to miss a thing! I have two projects to share with you today. The first project is a card I made with Lisa Johnson's new set, All My Love, as well as the coordinating All My Love Die-namics and the GORGEOUS new Damask Background! The colors I used are the new Cherry Crisp, Natural, and Primitive Cream. The sketch is this week's Wednesday Sketch Challenge #209.

Here is my card with All My Love. I used four stamped hearts to make the flower and LOVE how it looks. The sentiment was masked so I could fit them in the Stitched Circle STAX.

My second project is a set of love notes made with the new Tag Builder Blueprints 3 Die-namics. This is THE MOST FUN set. Like all of MFT's Blueprints sets, this set also has 6 coordinating sketches which makes for super quick and easy projects. I kept my love notes simple, but did add some pattern with the new Damask Background and Tiny Hearts Background, along with one of my faves, the Wood Plank Background. The colors I used are Cherry Crisp, Natural and Sweet Tooth.

There is a die included in this new Blueprints set that makes a crease down the center of the heart which gives some dimension. You can see the dimension here.

Love {SSSC204}

Hi there! It's time, once again, for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch. This week's sketch is awesome and can be used vertically or horizontally. I have used it vertically to accommodate my main image. To get all of the sketch details, head on over to Karen's Blog.

I went red and white for my card today with lots of embossing with the Tiled Hearts Stencil from My Favorite Things. If you haven't tried embossing card stock with a stencil, you MUST! So easy and so fun! I love all the texture the embossing added to my card. I also used MFT"s new set, Heart Balloons along with the coordinating Heart Balloons Die-namics. You will find a complete link list for all of the products I used at the bottom of this post.
