Vasco is ... CREEPY!!!!
Vasco Rossi (si sa, spero) è ormai un uomo di 57 anni che da anni arranca col suo berretto verde militare e gli immancabili occhiali da sole fra i palchi d'Italia, sciorinando le solite canzonette "finto rock" accompagnate da testi che potrebbero essere stati scritti da un bambino di terza media in un tema fatto a scuola. Dove sta la novità? Sino a poco fa era tutto normale, direi. La generazione Blasco continuava a cantare Albachiara (piangendo) durante i suoi concerti (preferibilmente San Siro e preferibilmente sold out, si intende) e la vita scorreva tranquilla.
Ma le CAZZATE sono sempre dietro all'angolo e le "idee geniali" pure.
Il nostro orecchio soffrirebbe a sentire certe cose, come Iva Zanicchi che in un mondo parallelo coverizza Patti Smith o Vasco i Radiohead. Peccato quest'ultima sia da spostare dal campo delle possibilità impossibili e orribili a quello della reale, cruda, brutta effettualità. Molto brutta.
"Ad ogni costo" è il nuovo singolo del Vasco nazionale e si da caso che sia la cover di uno dei pezzi più belli degli ultimi vent'anni, "Creep" dei Radiohead (Dio li tenga in gloria!), contenuto nel loro primo album "Pablo Honey"del 1993. Un manifesto. Un classico.
Il lato buono e valido dell'alternative rock che negli anni '90 i Radiohead hanno rappresentato prima della "svolta sperimentale si è rovesciato nei piatti e insipidi arrangiamenti e suoni tipici del "rock" italiano scialbo di cui Vasco è uno dei protagonisti, sicuramente il più grande.
Quel "gggg" "ggg" da brividi che precede il ritornello nell'originale dei Radiohead si fonde ora con la tipica voce da tossico che, quando non sa cazzo cantare, parte con i nananana, eeeeeeeehhh, ooooohhh e via così.. Neanche un pò di vergogna per essersi messo a confronto con la voce vellutata e androgina di Thom Yorke.
Sarà che c'è il tour europeo e ti serviva una canzone conosciuta che facesse appeal al pubblico straniero (dato che le tue non le cagano??).
Si.
Ma no. Io non ce l'ho con Vasco. Che continui pure a esistere e a iscriversi per la 26esima volta al Partito Radicale, sperando legalizzino la marijuana. Io ce l'ho con le case discografiche che hanno i diritti sulle canzoni degli artisti (i Radiohead, naturalmente) e permettono certi scempi.
E se pensate abbia detto un mare di cazzate, fate voi il confronto. La coscienza è vostra.
