The Snowflower Diaries

      Dear Stitching Friends,    I have so many new designs for this autumn to share.   I hope to finish releasing them next week and post a #flosstube video about the autumn/Halloween themed designs of The Snowflower Diaries this year.    I cannot honestly say I missed my stitching business that much last year and this year, meeting my Husband, and the journey of our love and magical marriage made me so full that I truly didn't even notice the time had passed! Now that we are settled and enjoy our crafts together - he is a drum making master, - I have found great joy again in designing, stitching and sewing and he is all for it. My dear stitchers, How are you doing? I spend most of my free time in the garden.  I had been to Italy last month on a needlework show, Fili Senza Tempo, I will publish a post about it, I still arranging the thousand picture I took traveling in Bologna and Modena. My darlings, I enjoy and appreciate summer holiday so much after I had a car crash this month.  I celebrate small things in life much more.   I am thinking of starting the #100happydays challenge on Facebook, too. Hello Ladies, How are you doing?  Are your pumpkins carved and ready?:-)  I am taking an autumn holiday with my children, we are arranging a witchy party for Halloween, light candles and remember our loved ones who had passed away. I had stitched a little pillow for All Hallows Eve, it is called 'I WILL BE THERE'. After some Bailey's I upload the free chart of my Autumn Is Here design for you.   I had finished a huge work an hour ago, hit the Send button, called my boss and now I can focus on The Snowflower Diaries, we are taking the next step on our road this month.  September will be a crazy, wonderful month, I am sure.  Put your seatbelts on, ladies:-)  IN HUNGARIAN:   Némi Bailey's után fel is töltöm nektek az Autumn Is Here (Megérkezett az ősz) című, szabadon letölthető mintámat.   Egy órája fejeztem be egy nagyobb lélegzetű munkát, benyomtam a Send gombot, felhívtam a főnökasszonyt és most már a Snowflower Diaries-re fókuszálhatok végre.  Ebben a hónapban megtesszük a következő lépést az úton.  Szeptember egy őrült, csodaszép hónap lesz, ebben biztos vagyok.  Öveket becsatolni, lányok!:-)

I would like to greet September with this little design of mine.   This little bird went hiding in my house and I had completely forgot about her existence till yesterday.   Remember how I had opened this blog?  I showed you a leaflet, sneak peaks of the first week's gifts when I published a free design each day.  It was the last time I saw this lady.   It seems she did not want her premier in March, smart girl. In Hungarian:   Ezzel a kis mintával szeretném a szeptembert köszönteni.   A kis madárkám elbújt a házunkban és én a tegnapi napig teljesen elfelejtkeztem arról is, hogy egyáltalán létezik.   Emlékeztek még, hogyan nyitottam meg a blogom? Mutattam egy plakátot, apró lesifotókkal a nyitóhét ajándékairól, amikor minden egyes nap új mintát hoztam nektek.   Ez volt az utolsó alkalom, hogy a kisasszonyt láttam.  Úgy tűnik, nem szeretett volna márciusi premiert magának, okos csaj.  A szabadon letölthető minta is érkezik hamaro...

This Easter I decorate our house in white and shades of purple with a hint of yellow here and there.   Of course ot of the million tulips I had planted in our garden during the cold autumn days none is happened to blossom in purple, but well, let's stitch some, right? :-) My latest design is called: TULIPS WITH CHICK.   (You can check its twin pattern: Tulips With Bunny here ). I have stitched the model with Nina's Threads (with the extraordinary and amazing Punk that is only for the bravehearted stitchers, Butter Squash, Artichoke, Daffodil and Oak) and black and white DMC.   I am the half-blood prince little white flower:-) IN HUNGARIAN : Idén húsvétkor fehérbe és a lila árnyalataiba öltöztetem a házunkat itt-ott némi sárgával fűszerezve. First of all I had almost passed out how many visitors came to my little blog in the first two days! Thank you very much, I am truly honoured.  (I thought by the end of March I will have five followers, and three out of this five would be an uncle or a cousin expressing their support for the poor girl.) My third design is called:  TULIPS WITH BUNNY. The model was stitched on 40 ct French Vanilla hand dyed Zweigart linen by Nina  with her threads (Hibiscus, Rooster Combs, Amber, Grizzly, Old Jeans) and black DMC for the eye. Again, my friend, Tímea Tanner saved this piece from getting forgotten and lost in my drawer where I am building a pile of various stitched items waiting their good faith to become an ornament, a box cover or something nice one day.  Without her help to finish some of the items I could have written only about the weather here. I designed and stitched these lovely bunnies in winter when it was freezing January outside.   I love seasonal designs so much, because they give me another excuse to redecorate the house which I practice a lot.   The title of this first spring design is: Spring Bunny Love.   The model was stitched on 40 count "French Vanilla" Zweigart hand dyed linen by Nina with her  threads: Daffodil, Amber, Rooster Combs, Grizzly, Hibiscus, Nutmeg and black DMC.   My dear friend, Tímea Tanner was so kind and finished it as an egg ornament I can hang anywhere.
