Twas The Night Before Christmas ...

I love 'Twas The Night Before Christmas' so when I saw this stamp I had to buy it and make a Christmas canvas with it!  The background is painted with acrylics, and I already had a chipboard Santa and sleigh in my stash.  I painted the rooftops and trees and added glitter glue everywhere and I am very pleased with it!

I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

House Mouse Canvas

I made another House Mouse canvas for another friend's birthday, this time using Vintage Photo Distress Ink, and Copper Stickles and Copper Dabber, and stamping and colouring the image and message before adding it to the canvas, finally finishing off with some Primas and stamping round the sides.

House Mouse Canvas

I made a House Mouse canvas for a friend's birthday recently. I inked up the canvas with Distress Inks and dabbers, stamped an image and some words and coloured them and attached to the canvas, and decorated with Primas and Stickles. I stamped mouse footprints round the edge of the canvas, not sure if it shows up very well in the photo.

Birthday Pressies!

It was a friend's birthday yesterday so now she has opened her pressies I can blog them! The first is a 4" x 4" canvas that I used pink and blue Distress Inks and silver dabber, and added a House Mouse image that I had stamped onto card and watercoloured and Stickled. Then I stamped a House Mouse message and added that, and finally put House Mouse footprints round the edges!

The second pressie is a piece of mountboard, inked with Peeled Paint Distress Ink and Gold Glimmer Mist, then I stamped a Crafty Individuals bird stamp, cut it into 4, edged with Gold Krylon pen and added it to the mountboard, having stamped the background. I added dragonfly brads to finish.

My First Canvas

I have been meaning to get round to having a go at doing a canvas, and Andrea kindly bought me a blank one for my birthday so I decided to get on and have a go! I have used my favourite greens, Peeled Paint and Shabby Shutters Distress Inks, and the stamping is done with Versafine Olympia Green and Adirondack Lettuce. I have sprayed Gold Glimmer Mist and daubed a bit of Gold TH dabber here and there too, then generally used embellishments all around the edges! The centre of the large flower is also a pressie, from Linda E! I am quite pleased with my first attempt! If you click on it for a larger image the sparkly bits show up!!
