Ruby's Rainbow Challenge #56 - Inchies

The new challenge on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges for the next 2 weeks is Inchies (1" square).  I love making these as I think I prefer working on smaller areas than large ones!  These are made on mountboard using Distress Inks, Tim Holtz Doodads and various stamps from my stash.

Another month has gone by so it is time for a new theme on the monthly challenge blog, Sparkles Forum Christmas Challenges and this time it is Angels.  We are sponsored for this challenge by Lili of the Valley and you could win a £10 voucher if you have a go.
For my DT work I have altered another beermat (my collection is growing rapidly!) and used some papers by Dovecraft (I think, I am useless at remembering what I've used!)  for the background and image, adding some sparkle and a Tim Holtz Doodad to embellish.

Vintage Cards

The new challenge on My Time To Craft is Vintage Cards.  In my haste to get my DT work completed I misread our instructions and made an ATC - which technically is a card as it is an Artists Trading Card!!  I wanted to use old stash up, so used K & Co paper for the background with a little stamping and inking round the edges, and a HOTP image, Tim Holtz doodads, sticky lace, Primas and adhesive pearls - all things I have had for a while!

Ready Steady Stamp Challenge 25

We had a long list of ingredients to choose from again this time for the RSS challenge, and I went for canvas, egg shells, wings, little girl theme, acrylic paint, pink, lace and glossy accent!  I used some Claudine Hellmuth sticky canvas and stuck it over my fat book page and then painted it with Pink Sherbert and Pearl Acrylic Paint Dabbers.  I stamped a Lost Coast Designs image and cut her out and coloured her with Copics.  I used the egg shell technique down the side of my page and added some pink lace and pearls and brads to embellish.

I them mounted them onto a Moo I had stamped and embossed with gold, then edged everything with Gold Krylon!
