Journal52 - Mail Art

This prompt was from a few weeks ago on the Journal52 challenge.  I think we were supposed to use things that come in the mail for our page but I decided to interpret it literally and used some stamps in my collection that were ideal and some bits and bobs from my stash instead!  I water coloured the large postcard stamp with Distress Inks - I don't think I've used this stamp before and I know I have had it for some years now!

Calendar Challenge - July

Our two words on The Craft Barn's Calendar Challenge for July are Turquoise and Beach Huts.  As luck would have it I managed to find a beach hut stamp in my collection so that was ideal for this challenge!   I enjoyed making these - now I want to go to the seaside!

Z is for .....

Zebra!  Yes we have got to the end of the alphabet for a second time on the Alphabet Challenge Blog.  We will be starting again at A next week, but Linda is passing over the reins to me to run the challenges as her circumstances have changed somewhat since the blog started and she has less time now.  She will be staying on as a DT member and joining in as and when she can.

I used a Tanda zebra stamp for my atc, coloured with Distress Inks to try and make it look a bit like a safari scene!

Y is for ........

Yellow this week on the Alphabet Challenge Blog.  I have made another atc for my A - Z book which is almost complete!  I used a Tanda stamp of a yacht and coloured it with Copics, and the background is Distress Inks.

Postage Moo

The challenge on Make a Moo or Two this week is Postage, so I found some suitable Tanda stamps for the background and used Distress Inks, and a few images to add to finish it.

Summer Days

The theme on Make a Moo or Two this week is Summer. I inked my moos with Broken China and Mustard Seed Distress Inks, then stamped the images and watercoloured them in. I added a Prima for the sun, drew some birds and printed off the words to finish them.
