N for Navy Blue Plus One Other Colour
Time for a new challenge on the Alphabet Challenge Blog - which from this week has now gone fortnightly - is Navy Blue Plus One Other Colour. For my DT work I made a Christmas card using a Kanban image that was lying on my desk, a navy blue card and some red bp. I punched some red snowflakes with my MS punch, and when sticking them on managed to smear a bit of silicone gel on the edge of the card, so I then had to go round the whole card with gold Krylon to try and disguise it!

The theme this week on the Alphabet Challenge Blog is S for Stripes. I made an ATC for my DT work, using yet again HOTP images (I bought so many when I first started crafting!!).

Motor Madness
The new theme on My Time To Craft is Motor Madness. For my DT card I inked the background of the card with Distress Inks and stamped various stamps over it. I matted the car image and greeting, doodled round the edges and edged the whole card with Copper Krylon, embellishing with metallic nailheads.

Autumn
I love autumn colours, and I have made an atc using the lovely Harvest of Memories and Moments in Bloom stamps by Unity, available here. I inked the background of the atc with Wild Honey Distress Ink and stamped a background stamp, then stamped and cut out 2 leaves, coloured them with Adirondack inks and Glossy Accents and attached to the atc together with one of the sentiments from the Harvest of Memories sets.
I am entering this for the Autumn challenge on Tuesday Taggers.

Ready Steady Stamp Challenge 25
We had a long list of ingredients to choose from again this time for the RSS challenge, and I went for canvas, egg shells, wings, little girl theme, acrylic paint, pink, lace and glossy accent! I used some Claudine Hellmuth sticky canvas and stuck it over my fat book page and then painted it with Pink Sherbert and Pearl Acrylic Paint Dabbers. I stamped a Lost Coast Designs image and cut her out and coloured her with Copics. I used the egg shell technique down the side of my page and added some pink lace and pearls and brads to embellish.

Metal Madness
The new challenge on Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge is called Metal Madness. Any type of metal can be used for this, charms, brads, metallic papers, or even real metal items! For my DT work I decided to make a Thrinchie, colouring it with DI's and stamping with a Crafty Individuals (I think, it is upstairs and I am downstairs!) stamp. My metal is the word bar at the top and the heart shaped brads in the centres of the Primas. I edged it with Copper Krylon pen to finish.
Why not pop over to the blog and have a go - the prize this time is a $10 spend in Simon Says Stamp store!

Ready-Steady-STAMP Challenge 20
For Challenge 20 on RSS, we had to use turquoise, silver, black and white, angel, heart, ribbon and lace and wood. I made my fat book page using Broken China DI for the background, and stamped my angel Crafty Individuals stamp. I coloured her in with Copics, and stamped a lace corner stamp in 3 corners and added 3 heart brads in the fourth. I used some white lace and an irridescent ribbon to match the irridiscent glitter glue on her wings. Finally, the only wooden thing I could find was a wooden leaf which I painted silver with Adirondack dabber! I then edged the page with a silver Krylon pen.

Make it Manly
The new challenge on My Time To Craft is Make it Manly. I don't need to make many men's cards and they never seem easy! I stamped the background and image of my DT card with Versafine (I can't remember the make of these clear stamps, and all my craft stuff is now upstairs and I am downstairs so can't check!) and the background is done with Distress Inks and stamping. The embellishments are metallic nailheads, and I edged the card with Copper Krylon.

T is for ....
Tags! We are up to T on Linda's Alphabet Challenge Blog, and for my DT atc I put a tag on (cut with my Cricut) and stamped a Crafty Individual tree image. I used Distress Inks for all the inking, and another CI image stamped lightly on the background of the atc. Finally all edged with Copper Krylon pen. I like to explain every now and then that I bind these books afterwards with my BIA and so the embellishments lean to the right or left to leave space for the holes to be punched!

Christmas Banner Part 4
The final banner challenge on Ready Steady STAMP this week was to include our chosen colours, a Santa, torn paper, music score and adhesive pearls. I used my Crafty Individuals music stamp and Santa stamp for this one and embellished it in a way I hope matches the other 3! I will put them all together as soon as I can and blog them all together! This was a great challenge over the last few weeks.

Christmas Banner Part 3
Part 3 of the Christmas Banner Challenge on Ready-Steady-STAMP is to use our chosen colours, baubles, cord, organza and dry embossing. I embossed my Snowflake Cuttlebug folder through the Big Shot and cut out some of the snowflakes with a circle punch to make my baubles, I then dabbed them with Gold Dabber and went over them with Gold Krylon. I attached them with gold cord and tied organza ribbon round the cords. I finished it off with embellishments to co-ordinate with my other banners.

Matchbox Advent Calendar
I made a Matchbox Advent Calendar last year and liked it so much I have made another this year. This year's one is in reds and greens, and I used Cosmo Cricket Christmas papers and some HOTP together with some CC chipboard shapes to decorate. I think I will make one a year and build up a collection!
I am entering this for the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge as I have just seen their challenge is to make a calendar, which can be an Advent Calendar!
