Christmas Card

I haven't blogged for a year and wasn't sure if I would still be able to, I see there are a few changes on here since I last visited!  For one reason and another I haven't crafted much for a while, and didn't manage to get any Christmas cards made last year but have now joined a Facebook group to make a Christmas card a week throughout the year.  Well I won't be able to keep up with that and I don't need 52 hand made cards anyway but thought it would give me inspiration to get me started again!  This week the theme is Pink so here is my card - first one ready for Christmas this year!

RRC Challenge #18 - Monochrome

The new challenge on Ruby's Rainbow Challenges is Monochrome.  For my DT work I have made a Christmas card using one of my cute snowmen stamps by Funstamps.  I coloured him in shades of blue with Promarkers and Copics, but had to cheat and give him a little orange nose!

MTTC Challenge #153 - G is for ........

Where do the weeks go?  Time for a new challenge on My Time To Craft and this week it is G is for ......  so I went for G is for Green!  This card is pretty much the same as the card below, I have 3 great nephews to make cards for, and I do fairly simple straight forward ones as I never hear an acknowledgement or thank you - so this year they are all getting the same just in different colourways!  As before the Funstamps image is coloured with Promarkers, and the bp is DCWV.

Easter Houses

I run a House Swap on Craft Swap Forum and the current one is Easter Houses. Here are the ones I have made for it, I used Distress Inks for the background, a Crafty Individual crackle stamp for the rooves, and a Funstamps bunny stamp which I coloured in with Copics.

Another Funstamps flower stamp and another play with my Copics! The greeting stamp is from Hero Arts.

P is for Poppy

P this week on Linda's Alphabet Challenge Blog, and I used the same poppy stamp as the post below for my nature themed atc and again coloured it in with Copics.

Red Poppy

I bought a few Copics to compare them with Promarkers - I think I prefer the Copics! If nothing else I can get the tops off easier! I used 2 of them to make this simple Poppy card using a Funstamps stamp.

I am also entering this card for the fab blog candy being offered on Charmed Cards and Crafts - with a super prize of 72 Copics! All you have to do is submit something using a coloured in image - full details on their blog.

Yellow Inchie

The theme on InchybyInch this week is to use Yellow - so I have used my diddy little chick stamp from Funstamps for mine!

The new challenge on Funky Fairys Challenge blog is a little different this week - we want you to make a Milk Carton! You can request a free template - details on the blog and create away! I used Paisley Love Vol 1 papers from Funky Fairys Papercrafts for mine and Lindsay Mason's cute little Stick Leg Angel stamp by Funstamps.
