CYDA Challenge #24 - Fancy Folds
Time for a new fortnightly challenge on Craft Your Days Away, and this time the theme is Fancy Folds. There is a fab prize of 4 digis from Meljen's Designs so pop over and take part.
For my DT work I chose to make an easel card, not the fanciest of folds really but I like them! I used a cute Elzybells image coloured with Promarkers and Copics, and some lovely DCWV Pocket Full of Posies bps. I punched the border strips and butterflies with Martha Stewart punches and coloured some white flowers to co-ordinate with a Promarker. I'm never sure how to photograph these cards and only usually take one pic, but it is an easel card!

SFCC Challenge #6 - Glitter
Time for a new monthly challenge on Sparkles Forum Christmas Challenge, and this month the theme is Glitter. Christmas is getting ever closer so now would be a good time to make a start on your cards if you haven't already! There is a prize this month of a £10 voucher to spend at Joanna Sheen and also, a 5 digis or 4 digis and one paper pack from Robyn's Fetish.
For my DT work I used an Elzybells stamp - sadly no longer available, coloured with Copics. The bp is DCWV and that was my last sheet of that particular design which I loved! The snowflakes are punched with my Martha Stewart punch with Card Candy in the centres. The sentiment is by Daisy and Dandelion.

Ladies Day
The new theme on My Time To Craft is Ladies Day. For my DT work I wanted to have a go at a technique I have seen a lot lately of distressing all the edges of the papers and mats so found my Tim Holtz distressing tool and went for it - great fun! I used an Elzybells image coloured with Promarkers and Copics (I use an assortment of both) and Daisy and Dandelion papers, and a Card Candy greeting and blobby things!
I am also entering this card for the Spots and Dots challenge over at Freshly Brewed Challenges.

I used some freebie BP from a magazine, and the sentiment is by Elzybells, finally finishing with some metallic nailheads and a dragonfly brad.

Satsuma, Gold and Chocolate!
Sounds yummy doesn't it! Those are the colours for the challenge on Winter Wonderland this week. I made my card using an orange gingham background, and my cute little eskimo man by Elzybells coloured in with Copics. He is matted onto gold card and chalk inked round the edges. The greeting is also from Elzybells. I used my MS punch for the snowflakes (I think they are on all my Christmas cards!) and Card Candy in the middles.

Snowflakes
The theme on this week's Magical Crafts Forum weekly Christmas Card challenge is Snowflakes, and I have made this card using Papermania backing paper, an Elzybells stamp coloured in with Copics and glitter glue onto a mat cut with a Nestabilities die, a Personal Impressions sentiment and a Martha Stewart punch! I followed the sketch on this week's Winter Wonderland challenge too which also had an optional theme of Baby's First Christmas, but as I would have no use for that I opted not to!
