Gruffies & Guests Ch#22 - Embossing
I've just posted the halfway reminder on Gruffies & Guests for Challenge #22 - Embossing. For my DT work I used an image from a House Mouse paper pad - silly me didn't check the size of the images when I bought it and the main ones are 8" x 8" and I don't make cards that big so I used one of the smaller ones! I used a couple of Cuttlebug embossing folders for the background.
If you take part in our challenge you could win 7 digi stamps from Bugaboo Digi Stamps, so pop on over to the blog and take part!

Sparkles Monthly Challenge #40 - Die Cuts and Flowers
Time for a new theme on Sparkles Monthly Challenges, and for the next month it is Die Cuts and Flowers. I used a Cuttlebug corner die and punched some flowers for my DT card. Lousy photo because of the poor light though!
This month we are sponsored by Di's Digis with a prize of $10 to spend online.

The Cupboard Trilogy Ch# 2 - Embossing
And for the third of my posts today (and the day my computer decides to play up making it extremely hard to post anything!) we are on our second challenge on The Cupboard Trilogy, which this month is Embossing. For my DT work, I made a LO using some card stock that had already been embossed with a leaf pattern. The photos are of our cute rabbit Billy, who sadly died a little while ago. I also embossed some strips of card using a zigzag Cuttlebug border embossing folder, and die cut some birds and ran them through my dotty Cuttlebug embossing folder.

R for Roses
This week we are up to R on the Alphabet Challenge and the theme is Roses. I made a decoupaged card for my DT work, not something I usually do but the recipient likes decoupage! The corner embellishments are cut with a Cuttlebug die.

I is for Icy Colours
We are up to I this week on the Alphabet Challenge Blog (third time round!) and this week I have chosen Icy Colours as the theme. I decided to make a Christmas card for my DT work, one more to add to the growing pile! I used cool greens and blues and my cute polar bear stamp that I have had for ages and comes out every year! I embossed some white card with my Cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder and punched some snowflakes with my MS punch. The sentiment is HOTP and I cut the mats for it with Nesties.

First DT Card for Magical Crafts Challenge!
I was delighted to be chosen to be on the Design Team for Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge following their recent DT call, and this is my first DT card for them. The new challenge is a sketch and is sponsored by Simon Says Stamp so pop on over and have a go! I made my card using pretty Daisy and Dandelion papers, and coloured my image (will edit this post when I have checked who it is made by - it is upstairs and I am downstairs!) with Copics. I used a Cuttlebug die for the corners and added a Card Candy sentiment and some Primas and punched leaves and Liquid Pearl blobs to finish!
ETA - the image is by Nellie Snellen!

Floral Frenzy
The theme on My Time To Craft this week is Floral Frenzy - to use as few or as many flowers as you wish. Well I got into a frenzy doing this card - it isn't what I intended it to be like! I stamped my image and coloured in with a Copic and a Promarker - but the Promarker (pink) bled all outside the edges, and I didn't want to waste such a large image. So I cut it out and mounted it onto the card with sticky foam pads - then thought it looked a bit flat so stamped and coloured it again and cut out the main part of the rose and decoupaged it. Anyone who knows me well knows I do NOT do decoupage! However, I am fairly pleased with how this card turned out eventually and it is now in the post to the recipients so I hope they like it! The gold corners are cut using a Cuttlebug die in my Big Shot.
