Jerry's Corner, episode 6, and Cast Your Vote

Hello stuffies everywhere! This is Jerry's Corner. I'm your host, Jerry. Welcome to the show!

As you can see, I'm on location for today's show in our garden. We have several exciting things to bring to our viewers today, so let's get right to our first question. It comes from our pal Sandy. "Furst, thank yoU Sandy foR sending in your qweshton, and HAPPY CANADA DAY" says Jerry. Sandy asks:

I noticed that your strawberries looked like they were at about the same stage of growth as ours. I am confused. A few months ago, we were way ahead in the plant department (our irises are done long ago) but now it seems your strawberries have caught up... how does that work??

That is a great qweshton Sandy. "OwR strawBEARies are alwayz readee to eat mid and late June" says Jerry. The few plants in our garden are planted along the side of our house in our herb garden, and it's beary sunny there, so perhaps they are a little ahead. Unfortunately, the squirrels have also discovered the strawberry bed and treated it like a 24-hour buffet!

So blog pals, Jerry wants you to remember one thing: no matter when your strawBEARies are ready for harvest, it's beary important that you insist your seKretary makes plenty of strawberry shortcake, strawberry muffins, strawberry ice cream, and strawberry smoothies for you. If there are any left, you can of course share them with your seKretary.

Regular blog pals will remember, our new neighbor Mr. Gnome has moved into our garden and built a cozy place to live. Mr. Gnome does not have a name, and has expressed a wish to have one.
