Contest 5: Halloween Art Contest (no Jack-o-lanterns, but any other kind of art).

FIRST PRIZE: Little Fox for his Meditation on Brownies...Ok, Little Fox entered this photo as a costume--Baker Little Fox--but Judge Jerry says that brownies ARE art, and indeed one of his favorite art forms, and he awards bonus points for use of chocolate. Ben is convinced to award bonus points too because Jerry says he'll share the brownies... Yummy!

Happy Bearthday Jerry!

Today is Jerry's bearthday! Aren't bearthdays great?

Ben brought in some surprises from the mailbox and Jerry torn into a parcel right away: "What iz in here?" he said.

"Um, me haveeng a hard time with thiz big envuloppe." "Wait" said Ben, "I'll help yoU!"

Jerry received a special request from Little Fox's pal Drunk Fox who, knowing about Jerry's love (obsession?) with snacks, wanted to know which snack would be better as a surprise for Little Fox when he gets back from London.

Jerry, Taste-Tester Expert, is ready. "Well, furst, let me try the peanuts...mmmh...mm... yus, they are beary good. Now the kookies,....munch...mm...munch...mm...yus they two are beary good. Me need anothur taste, peanuts...mmm.yum.mm... kookies....mmm.munch.mmm...maybe one more tazte...mmm..munch.mmm...yum. Well, there iszn't any more to taste, and both are good, so MY konkluszion is that Little Fox deserves both snacks!"

In addition to some great snacks from Drunk Fox, Jerry also receive a cool Lion card from Ajdin, and a cool postcard from Little Fox! (oops, the postcard is upside down) There was also a big brown box from Sandy!

"Ok, me want to opun box now" said Jerry. 

"A prezant and kard from Sandy" exclaimed Jerry!

"And Winnie the Pooh wrapping paper!!!" added Ben, who then asked "what iz it? what iz it?"

"A beary beautiful kard and, ...um...eh...er....Kristmus lights??" wondered Jerry. But Ben said that maybe Sandy was just recycling a box, and so he urged Jerry to open it right away.

"HONEEEEEEE! Thankz Sandy, how did you EVUR know that I LOVE HONEEEEE!"

UPDATE: After we made this post, we also got a beautiful Halloween card AND Bearthday card from Droopy! Thanks so much Droopy!!

"Thankz everyone for the bearthday greetings, cards and prezants!" said Jerry. Ben is making a special bearthday meal: wild rice soon and salade, and a delicious cake! We'll have honey on our toast this weekend!
