Postcards!

We got postcards from our pals Beanie and Hammie! First, Beanie sent us a beary beautiful postcard from the Royal Academy of Arts in London! We have to go there during our next trip to England!  Next, Hammie sent a postcard from Oitzum and a second card from a cool exposition on the Vikings. Thanks Beanie and Hammie!

Jerry and Ben received a nice postcard from their good friend Sandy today! Sandy is traveling in London and Berlin, and we've been following his great adventure on his blog.

Sunday Morning Coffee

One of our favorite summer activities is to have Sunday morning breakfast in the back yard. "Itz beary kwiett an peasfull" says Jerry. Papa makes something yummy to eat. "Me like towst and honny" adds Ben, "and yogort and barries iz good too." "Pancakes! Make pancakes peaze!" giggles Jerry.

Jerry sometimes helps do a little gardening before breakfast is ready, "Deeging in the dirt iz fun" explains Jerry, "and me luk for beez, yu see any beez roun here?" Papa makes coffee and serves pretend coffee to Jerry and Ben "Itz reely hot choklate" whispers Ben, "but me and Jerry kall it coffee and itz yummy and we hav owr own kups and sorsers!" Do you like to have a peaceful weekend breakfast? What do you like to eat?

Bear Olympics - Team USA & Final Voting!

Team USA--Ben, Jerry and Jake--(photo above, left-to-right) is ready for the Bear Olympics, and we're very pleased to host the following beary important contests:

Judging for our contests will be a little different from some of the other bear olympics contests (just to make it easier): Jerry, Ben and Jake will each give a score of 1-to-10 to the entry, and the final score will be the average of those 3 individual scores. We'll be sending some little prizes to the winners.

The judges were beary impressed with all the contestants! You all did a great job!
