Bull 5-15-87

I've noticed it's sometimes hard to tell the difference between blanked out names and paragraph justification.

The Onteora Bull

While I'm showing cartoons in high school, I thought I'd show where a lot of them were printed: the school paper. It was xeroxed sheets stapled together with transfer letters for the headlines. As you can see, we used state of the art technology.

I think my actual words were "We already have school prayer, it's called the pledge of allegiance". Like many things I said, I guess that was deemed unprintable.

Mashuga #1, Summer 1982

Maybe I'm the only one that cares about the backs of these pieces of paper, but so what?

Captain Spaz's Mexican Adventure

I thought I was out of Captain Spaz but I remembered this. I was the freshman editor for TOMAHAWK 84 and the theme was cartoon characters around the world. Bobby and I were the only ones to use our own characters and in comic form.

These pages were small so I had to enlarge them to make them legible, then the words became unreadable so I had to type them. The original ones were hand-lettered.

The comics weren't the only thing I doctored for this blog. I also erased the faces so I won't get sued.

What I did in high school was deface some of the candid photos in the section I edited with our characters.
