I thought I'd show old cartoons like I play old records, but can't find a host. The rights are even more complicated here so I've gotten around it by only embedding things that have already been posted by someone else, absolving me altogether.
I take no responsibility for anything removed by the rightholders, watermarks from previous second-generation sources, editing, cropping, or other ways links that have been broken by parties other than me. Once in a while you'll come across offensive racial stereotypes. Remember the cartoon is about the story and not about them.

Secret Squirrel #1, 3 of 3
The final part of the first and only issue of Secret Squirrel from October 1966. The first two parts were here and here.
Squiddly Diddly was the second feature on the show. Winnie Witch was the other feature. But the main feature was Secret Squirrel The inside back cover to the comic. Like other Gold Key Comics at the time, the back cover was the same as the cover but without the logo.

Secret Squirrel #1
Behold the first issue of Secret Squirrel, from October 1966, which as far as I know was the only issue. Probably because the animated Hanna-Barbera series it was based on only lasted a season.
Like with most TV tie-ins from Gold Key, the artists are not credited.

Jetsons: Garbage In, Garbage Out
I did this for The Flintstones and the Jetsons #2 sometime in September 1997, one of the first Hanna-Barbera/DC stories I did.
The cover is kind of an inside joke. At the time, Bill Alger was living in Dallas and had a day job working on Barney.
Most of you are familiar with Ivan Brunetti, known more now for things like teaching and New Yorker covers. I haven't corresponded with him in a few years, but I know he's embarrassed by much of his earlier work. But I hope saying so will that may redeem that, though. This isn't a showcase for other current cartoonists, though, it's about me. Before using the style he uses now, he also did some work on the Hanna-Barbera titles before going on to bigger and better things. A lot of it was done with the assistance of a fellow named Thad Doria.

Yogi Bear
Back in the 1990's when I had free reign over the Hanna-Barbera characters (within reason) I wrote this Yogi Bear story for DC's Cartoon Network Presents
The story, drawn by Bill Alger, comes from the second issue in September 1997.
Next week: The Jetsons
The story, drawn by Bill Alger, comes from the second issue in September 1997.
