Cookie #8, 3 of 3

This comic Cookie, also known as “Cookie” (in quotes) was American Comics Group's contribution to the teen genre (made most famous by Archie. The eighth issue of Dan Gordon's creation was published in September 1947. The previous two parts are here and here.

Cookie #8, 1 of 3

I've posted lots of funny animal comics from American Comics Group, now it's time for the funny humans. Cookie, a creation of Dan Gordon was a series about a teenage boy, the creation of which co-incided with the creation of Archie but only one endured.

I'm not sure if Gordon signed everything he did as he did with the lead the interior story in this, the eighth issue from 1947, but it looks like the cover is by someone else made to look like him.
