Pinup Hair and Makeup for a photoshoot

A little over a week ago I had a Pinup photoshoot. I was not able to get pictures of my makeup until after I got home from the shoot. So it's not as fresh looking as usual, considering the shoot was 3 hours long and traveling there and back in a hot car! :-)

Coastal Scents Shadow worx eye primer (applied to upper lid, blending in gently with ring finger) 

Darling Girl Cosmetics Glitter Glue (applied all over upper lid with ring finger)

NYX - Hilight (applied under the brow and blended downward lightly toward just above the crease)

UD - Oil Slick (outer V and crease)
UD - Twice Baked (Outer V and crease, blended out)
UD - Blunt (all over lid and lower lash line)
UD - Oil Slick (outer 1/3 lower lash line)
NYX - Hilight (inner corner)
Kryolan Aquacolor - Black (upper lash line and winged outward)
Essence  All Eyes on Me Mascara - Black (1 coat lower lashes)

Eyebrows: e.l.f. Baked Eyeshadow - Burnt Plum (applied with a synthetic angled liner brush)

Lips: Morgana Cryptoria Lipstick - Very Cherry

Sobe Powder Foundation - Light Warm (applied with Coastal Scents bionic buffer brush)

Sobe Tinted Illusionist (applied all over face/neck with a large powder brush) 

NYX blush - Taupe (applied just below the cheek bones to contour)

NYX blush - Dusty Rose (applied to cheek bones and blending back toward the hair line)

Old Hollywood Makeup/hair Look

This look is from a couple weeks ago. We had the opportunity to go to a 1940's theme Dinner Theatre Murder Mystery and took it, even though it was on a Thursday night. :-) Was a lot of fun!

I don't remember what eyeshadows I applied where, I just know that I used my 88 shimmer palette to create the look.

Pinup/Retro Inspired Makeup Look

This look is from last Saturday. My hubby was DJing at a bar and this is the look I decided to go with. I don't do neutral looks very often, but I ended up liking this.

For the 2nd day of the shoot, we were very limited time wise, so there aren't as many pictures as the 1st day. But they are the interior of the plane, so these are fun!

Pin Up photo shoot with B-17 plane: Day 1

Here they are! I said I would post pictures from the shoot and I just got them on disc yesterday, so I figured I would go ahead and share them with you today. :-)

Pin Up Makeup look for photo shoot - Day 2

Here's the 2nd day look I did for the photo shoot. I took these photos after I got home. So this is about 5-6 hours after I did my makeup. The sun was evil bright and my eyes were watering a lot and made my liner crease a bit on one eye. But everything else seemed to still look OK.

Pin Up Makeup look for photo shoot - Day 1

In my last post, I mentioned that I did a pin up themed shoot. It was 2 days in a row so I wore 2 different makeup looks as well as different outfits and accessories. I had to wake up at 5 am for both days. But I managed to do makeup that early without looking like a clown.
The pictures from the shoot aren't done being edited by the photographer and probably won't be for a few days. I figured I'd go ahead and share the first makeup look I did with you anyway.  When the photo shoot pictures are done, I'll post some on here to share with you. They are quite fun. :-)

Since we were going for a more authentic early 40's look, I opted to wear a wig, since my hair is currently red and black. I also took my nose ring out...which was a pain to get back in. I have to use pliers! Bleh.
