T'was The Night Before Christmas...

Hi! Crafty Cardmakers have got a challenge to make a card which depicts the poem, 'T'was The Night Before Christmas'. This card is inspired by the line, 'The stockings were hung by the chimney with care', using an image from Digistamp Boutique:

This is another quick CAS card, in the attempt to get my Christmas stock made before Christmas...

The image is coloured with Promarkers, and then smothered in Glamour Dust.

Cupcake Inspirations Surprise!

Hi! The lovely Cupcake Inspirations have invited me to be a Surprise Sweetie! I am so excited and honoured to be asked!

Here's this week's challenge:

The Sponsor for the challenge is Polkadoodles, who created the beautiful fairly image I used for my card!

So here is the card I made for the challenge. I added the 'Wishing you a Magical Birthday' sentiment to the image, and coloured with Promarkers. Then I embellished by colouring the stars with a silver pen, using a Wink of Stella brush for the crown, adding tiny gems to the crown, flowers and sentiment, and smothering the wings in Glamour Dust. For a finishing touch, I added 3 silver star beads. Behind the image, on the Kraft card, are a few strands of gold thread.

Stamped Flower Panel

Hi! I've been using my Stampin' Up 'Summer Silhouettes' stamps and some gems to make this card, masking off the panel and using ink dusters for a subtle background:

Urrrg, man Cards are So Difficult

I've been trying to make Fathers Day cards, and I find it so difficult - really hard to resist the urge to add flowers, ribbons, glitter and gems to bling them up!

Inspired by a couple of challenges, I've made a couple of 'man' cards using a Stampin' Up stamp:

I'm quite pleased with how these have turned out, but I still want to add some gems... and one or two flowers would be ok, surely... everyone likes flowers....

More Punch Flowers

I needed a Thank You card, so punched yet more flowers out of patterned papers. Love being able to use up some of my paper hoard :)  I made a 'Just a note' card with the same papers while I was at it ;)
