And more flowers and butterflies...

I also made another card with the same stamp, inspired the colours in the Fab Friday challenge:

and also by the CAS on Sunday challenge 'Tic Tac Toe' :

Using 'Birthday', 'Butterfly' and 'Ribbon', here's my card:

Flowers, Butterflies and a Sketch

I've made another card with my new flowers stamp, inspired by Sketch Saturday's current challenge, which is 'Choose Any Sketch'. I decided to use this one:

New Stamps!

I've been on eBay again, which is always dangerous... my new stamp set arrived this morning, and I really love them! They were free with one of the Cardmaking & Papercraft magazines, but the seller had never used them.

I've made a couple of cards using one of the flowers images and a Happy Birthday sentiment;

This one was inspired by the gorgeous colours in the Colour Me! challenge:
I'm also entering it into the Sparkles Monthly challenge 'It's Spring'

For both cards I used the Papertake sketch no. 64:
The current Papertake Challenge is 'Take Your Pick', which meant you could 1 or more of the following:
  • Any Papertake sketch
  • Glitter
  • Blue and/or green
  • Easel Card
I'm entering the card below in the challenge because it has the blue (with a tiny bit of green), and uses the sketch:

I'm also entering it into the Cas-ual Friday challenge, which involves using tan, white and one bright colour. I'm hoping they will forgive the two tiny green leaves being an additional colour... :)

Daisy Bling

I made another daisy card, and went for a bright summery red. I wasn't sure what to do with the centre of the flower and decided to add a few gems, but I got a little carried away...

Anyway, here it is:

Happy Anniversary

Hi! Just been trying out my new heart stamp, and playing around with a sketch, and with colours from a couple of challenges. Here's what I've come up with, the same card with two different colour schemes:

ColourQ

I wasn't sure about using these colours for an anniversary card at first, but I like the freshness of the yellow. Colour challenges are great because you try things you would not normally think of :)

Blue, Green & Grey

I love the colours in the Cupcake Inspirations challenge, here:

I've made a couple of versions of a card using these colours, and am entering this first one into the challenge. I stamped the image with grey ink (Watering Can Archival Ink) onto watercolour paper, then coloured using a water brush and Andirondack inks Meadow, Sunshine Yellow (to soften the green a little) and Sail Boat Blue. I matted the image onto another square of watercolour paper, painted green, and then added that to folded grey card. I added the butterflies to give it a little bit of depth.

Favourite Flower Stamp

Hi! Here's another card I made today:

I made this one for the One-Layer Simplicity Challenge: 'Blossom' by masking the squares and stamping one of my favourite flower stamps into the squares.

I coloured it using the beautiful colour combination at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge:

Obsessed with a Sketch

Hi! I've been having a go at making cards using the sketch at CAS Colours & Sketches:

I got a bit carried away and have made a few with this layout - it's my new favourite thing! Here are a few of them:

More Punch Flowers

I needed a Thank You card, so punched yet more flowers out of patterned papers. Love being able to use up some of my paper hoard :)  I made a 'Just a note' card with the same papers while I was at it ;)

More Tiny Flowers

I've been making a few more notecards, in different colours. I think I need to buy some new flower punches, though, as the different flower shapes look good together :)  Any excuse to buy more craft gear...

I made a couple in turquoise and in pink, smaller versions of the birthday cards I made last week:

These ones are inspired by the Fusion 'Happy Days' challenge, although I think I should have used more yellow, less white :-s  But I love colour challenges, as I'm not very imaginative with colours and the challenges make you try something new :)

I made these for the MFT Color challenge - love these colours!

Makes me think of bees

I wanted to make a card for the Color Throwdown challenge, but I could only think about making something with bees on it, and I couldn't think of any bee-related card ideas.

Love the colours, though, and also the daisies image - oh yeah, I could make something with flowers! It's not always about bees...

So I made a couple of tiny note cards with punched flowers and gems. I'm entering this one in the Color Throwdown Challenge:

And I'm entering this one in the Allsorts challenge: 'Bring on the bling' - ok, so it only has three gems on it, but it's a tiny card, so a higher percentage of it is 'bling'ed... Hope it counts!
