The Christmas Celebration at the Parkers!

Tis the season to be busy! What more could we ask for but to be actively doing good things. This season, we decided to stay at home for the entire season! Our neighbors were a bit surprised not to see us packing up days after Christmas to go somewhere! Anyway, prior to Christmas we were able to do several things together as a family and with extended family. We spent a night at the temple, seeing the temple lights with the Grays and topped it off with a tailgate party filled with sugar cookies and Martinelli's! Yum! Then we spent another night caroling on a hay ride with the youth in our ward. Our growing boy loved jumping off the trailer and leaving the treats with the girls....Our huggable, kissable just loved the singing! And then on Christmas eve, we got together with the Dunyons and Grays and had an amazing Ham meal and all the trimmings and enjoyed a night of retelling and acting out the Christmas story. That night, as I sat and looked at part of my family, it reminded me of all the good times and traditions my parents set for me and even through all the fighting, moaning, and grumbling I did, I now realized that family is what it's all about. How sad I was to only have a part of them there, but because of the Savior and the plan of salvation, I know I am able to be with them together for the eternities - and there we can do as many Lake Powell trips, traditions, and good times that we want. I can't wait for us all to be together forever! Thanks to my family for being who they are and loving me for who I am!
The adorable trio!

Cole's Christmas Concert

Big Boy Cole

The family after the concert.

This year was our growing boy's first Christmas Concert. We can't believe that this will be the first of many to come! The whole school performed, luckily, we were able to leave since the Kindergartners performed first! They sang 4 songs in all and his favorite was "Blue Christmas" with actions and all. I think he's a born performer...wonder where he gets that from? Enjoy the show!
