Isn't It Always

Love the mix of modern, regency, and antique in this super stylish Italian Greek villa!

But mostly its about the pool and the ocean view. Isn't it always about the pools and ocean views as summer comes to an end?

Quiet Beauty

With winter drawing to an end here, I'm kind of hoping for one more weekend that feels like this stunning image looks. Hope the weekend brings all sorts of quiet beauty your way.

Even Covered

What is it about homes like this that just make you think vacation perfection. Perhaps the views, the colours, the casual furnishings? I actually think for me a lot of the time its the floors. If it has floors that look like perfection even covered with sand and baguette crumbs, well that can only mean a happy holiday right?

Stunning Slice

Nirvana looks an awful lot like this in my mind's eye. This stunning slice of heaven on earth combines all of my favourite elements concrete, timber, stone and magical views to provide one of my top five homes this year.

The old building is brought to life with a simple modern approach which takes nothing away from the character of the place, the views or the integrity of the building. The verdant garden and the sea breezes are the icing on the cake.

The Sea And Me

We're friends, the sea and me. These days I live very close to the sea, but it hasn't always been the case. I have a large oil painting that is very similar to these dark broody images. It gives me joy every single day.

And from that time on I bathed in the Poem
Of the Sea, star-infused and churned into milk,
Devouring the green azures; where, entranced in pallid flotsam,
A dreaming drowned man sometimes goes down...
